“Made the whole process super easy and stress free!”

Written on: 03/02/2020 by Lydiahopkins (1 review written)

I would really recommend GiveAGradAGo if you’re looking for cool and quick start grad jobs in London. My recruiter was really helpful and sent me lots of relevant and interesting jobs! Unfortunately I was offered a role elsewhere that was more in my interest, but the whole interview process I had with GiveAGradAGo was made super easy and stress free by their recruiters - really great for first time interviewees like me! Overall a very professional, friendly and helpful recruitment agency -… Read Full Review

“Got me an interview within 2 days of signing up!”

Written on: 13/01/2020 by ellieshort (1 review written)

I signed up after seeing a perfect design role for me on the give a grad a go website, 15 minutes later I get a call from someone who lets me know she’s sending my CV to them, and the next day calls me to let me know she’s secured me an interview! Hands down the best recruitment agency at getting your foot in the door and helping you kickstart your career… Read Full Review

“Stay away”

Written on: 05/12/2018 by Anne345 (1 review written)

Unless you’re a Russell group graduate, don’t bother with these people. Every single job I applied for on the website, I kept getting rejected (and this was after my phone conversation with one of the female consultants). Stay away… Read Full Review

Even if you ARE a Russell Group grad, that doesn't guarantee you an audience with this lot. Avoid!

“Incompetent and rude”

Written on: 31/05/2017 by jfMcBride261 (1 review written)

Can never get through to the person you need to speak to and they never ring you back. Have been trying to contact someone for over a week now and nothing. Absolutely useless and a complete waste of time. Just don't bother!!!… Read Full Review

“Fantastic Experience - Secured a job in under a week!”

Written on: 20/03/2017 by JadeJade (1 review written)

Very knowledgable and competent team. The most proactive recruitment agency that I've ever worked with! The staff were always available to offer guidance and advice, or simply to check on the progress of my job search. My emails were always responded to within 1 hour and friendly staff touched base with me before and after interviews. The service was thorough, professional and completely tailored to my needs every step of the way. I can't recommend them highly enough!… Read Full Review

“Disappointing”

Written on: 26/01/2017 by 151Neal (1 review written)

Secured a telephone and then face-to-face interview with a start-up company through GAGAG. I initially had confidence that they would help me find a job. Oh how I was very wrong. They were helpful but very brief with guidance and information in the run-up to the interviews. When I received a rejection from the company I had the interviews with, GAGAG completely abandoned me and haven't helped me in my job search since...so NOT GREAT! I'd avoid and utilise your time elsewhere… Read Full Review

“Rubbish - AVOID and save yourself some trouble”

Written on: 22/12/2016 by JaniyaMcLeod (1 review written)

'Incompetent' is the perfect word to describe GAGAGO. I applied for a role weeks in advance and was notified by the automated system that I'd made the shortlist. Had to actively call them up - their standard spiel is 'we just tried calling your mobile but unfortunately couldn't get through' and emails will be responded to days later. Was then told effectively that because they'd sat on the role for so long without notifying me, the hiring company had gone ahead and made their own shortlist so… Read Full Review

“Fantastic experience, got the job!”

Written on: 17/11/2016

I can't recommend Give a Grad a Go enough, they were friendly, thorough, knowledgeable, and exhaustive! They spent time getting to know me and what my ideal career path looked like before linking me a few job specs that matched my strengths and interests. They have a brilliant array of jobs that you can search through yourself or a consultant will hand pick a few with you specifically in mind. How it works is the hiring company is paying them and the better the fit between the grad and the… Read Full Review

“Really great experience”

Written on: 14/11/2016 by Knightdj46 (1 review written)

Great experience. My recruitment consultant (Izzy B), found me and encouraged me to go forward for a job I thought I would never get, then went the extra mile to help me along every step of the way. Really supportive and friendly, and I ended up getting the job. Definitely recommend… Read Full Review

“Awful”

Written on: 04/11/2016 by OrionBates132 (1 review written)

An awful consultants to deal with as a graduate in search of a Job. They made me travel across the country for an interview and the employer didn't even know anything about me when I turned up. They also lied about remuneration which was non- existent. Perhaps I'm a one off..but I wouldn't touch these greedy commission vultures again with a 7536 foot bargepole, hahaa. Best of luck with your job hunt guys!… Read Full Review

“Constant Rejection and No Feedback”

Written on: 06/10/2016 by Grad1234 (1 review written)

I signed up for Give a Grad a Go around five weeks ago. I was initially attracted by the sleek website and how easy it was to apply for jobs. My initial contact with the consultants went well, there was an assessment call the next morning, discussing my CV and experience as well as my future career which I felt went really well. A few days later a consultant reviewed my CV and was complimented on my grades, experience and overall CV, the only feedback being that I should add a small interests… Read Full Review

“Are giving recruiters a bad reputation... not professional”

Written on: 22/03/2016 by Taylor134 (1 review written)

After applying for one of their position, I received directly an email telling me I have been shortlisted. After having scheduled a call with one of their consultant, it happened that the consultant never called me, or either replied to my email, which I have found rude and quite unprofessional. During a second experience with them, I have been called by one of their consultant to review my experience for a specific position I applied for. The consultant only asked me closed questions such as… Read Full Review

“Give an Etonian Russell Group Grad a Go. ”

Written on: 18/08/2015 by AdrianPritchard (3 reviews written)

Give a Grad a Go supposedly places recent grads into employment. They have an unrealistically large number of vacancies which suggests they are data mining and trawling job boards to cold call clients. I registered and got a call within minutes of submitting my CV. The purpose of the call was supposedly to go through my CV but within seconds of realising my First was gained at a 'normal' uni not a Russell or an Oxbridge the woman completely lost interest. I don't have A Levels either having… Read Full Review

Carycurtis's Response to AdrianPritchard's Review

Written on: 08/09/2015

Hi. This is Cary. MD and Founder of GAGAGO. Whilst I'm sorry to hear that we aren't able to help you in job search I do think it's important to clear up a few points. I didn't go to Eton, I went to Oundle (a much better school). I did Engineering at Nottingham and I set the company on my own (however my Dad is the Accountant) . Our team is actually a very varied bunch of recent grads who all work very hard trying to help other recent grads (unfortunately we just can't help everyone but wish we could....we'd make more money that way). All of the jobs posted are actual jobs and we've helped to start over 1,000 careers for grads from all walks of life. I don't mind you flinging insults my way (as long as they're accurate) but let's please not flippantly disregard the work that my team does. You're not obliged to use us and it's a free service to graduates so feel free to ignore any of the jobs posted through us. I wish you all the best and hope you find the job you're looking for. And please root for us this week as we're finalists for the National Business Awards best SME (shameless plug). Many thanks Cary.

You can't help someone with a First Class Degree plus work experience before you have actually interviewed them? So tell me, what were you basing that decision on with only the University I went to go on? Please don't say the phone call that lasted less than 5 minutes! Apologies if I seemed insulting in the review, having recently dealt with an agency far, far worse than your own!
