I used Padres last year and to say that its a one man band ..is actually what it is! One guy is actually managing this site and uses a call centre to take the calls and credit checks. Unfortunately, he does not return calls and does not handle customer care with any regard for customer care. My flat had the wrong rental amount on it but did manage to get this changed and I did manage to get some tenant enquiries only trying to reach them was extremely difficult. I suggest to any one there wanting to rent a property please use another site, like Gumtree!

Used Padres twice in the year to advertise flats. It's a great concept, however that's all it is. There is no customer service to speak of; calls and emails are never returned and you can only assume this is the case for prospective tenant enquiries too.

The website tools are old and buggy, advertised response times are never met and they are erratic in what they actually deliver. Most recently my advert was only placed on one portal instead of the range promised. Completely unreliable.

I wasn't too sure about doing the whole letting thing myself but after paying my local agent about £300 last year I gave it a try. I paid Padres £60 & had about 5 or 6 interested people within the first couple of days. I found Padres pretty on the ball & they took care of the referencing and legals etc. All in all I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

My son is looking for a property to rent in Kent. On the internet we found one that looked ideal, that was being handled by Padres. Over the last 10 days we have made 8 phone calls to try to arrange a viewing. Each time the receptionist promises that someone will call back, but no one ever does. When you ask to speak to an agent, or to the manager, it appears that only the receptionist is in. If I were the landlord of this property, and I found out this is how they dealt with potential tenants, I would be furious.

Padres put my advert onto Rightmove within 24hrs, but that's about all they got right. It never appeared on Findaproperty, and was listed on zoopla as a 1 bed house (it's 3 bedroom)!

I tried to ring them on 4 occassions, everytime speaking to the receptionist, who tried to forward my call, and it never got connected. Everytime she sent/raised a callback request as, apparently, there was no direct number for me use to speak to the right people!? I never received any callback.

I ended up getting 4 'leads', 3 of which never returned my calls/emails, yet I'm told the rental market in my area is very good, and it wasn't over-priced! I put it in the local paper (no pictures) and got 2 people ring up immediately, both of which wanted the house. From this I can only conclude I wasn't getting the leads forwarded onto me, or they just weren't taking calls - worrying!!

DON'T USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. I sent multiple emails asking for a refund - to no avail, not even a response!

I really wouldn't advertise with these guy's at all. They haven't answered their phone to me for 7 days all I get is a receptionaist. I placed adverts with them 6 days ago and they still are not live.

It's my guess that they are about to go under.

advertised with these got lots of leads off rightmove. used their 24 hr referencing service 11 days later i've still received nothing back. if you ring them they promise a call back which never happens. rang them today to be told by receptionist that she knows nothing about the company and cant help me in any way !!!! total rip off

i paid £59.95 , had the ad for over 3 weeks but did not have any communication from padres. Difficult to speak to anyone. Waste of money! Eventually I manged to let the flat via Gumtree. I will never use Padres services again!

Used this site for the first time last week & can say I am impressed with service & performance of their tenant find offering.

I put my flat on with them & had about 8 really good prospects within 2 days. Padres handled the referencing which came back the next day & I have just signed the tenancy (which they also drafted) yesterday. I won't be using an estate agent again in a rush!
