Paid for overnight delivery and took day off work to receive parcel. Received email to say 24 hour delay so wasted my time. I rang central number and local branch and was informed it would be delivered the following day. No real apology but took following day off again to receive parcel. The following day I called central number as was not convinced by initial response and was informed parcel was out for delivery and to expect it today. At 4pm I rang once again as had not received parcel and was told driver was nearby and to wait in for delivery. I write this review at 9pm and surprise surprise no delivery. I don’t care if delivery is delayed but do not say it will be delivered on a day when it won’t. I now have to work for the next few days and won’t be home to accept delivery. Dreadful service. I will ring the supplier and complain to them. APC need to review what they promise. I am the last person to write a negative review but on this occasion I was compelled to do so….good luck everyone.

due for delivery on set day, not delivered. Rebooked in for delivery, not delivered on assigned day. Rebooked in again, not delivered on assigned day. Rebooked in again, not delivered on assigned day. Currently on 5th attempt. I dont understand whats going on and why they wont deliver my parcel. Exeter branch dont anwer phone calls and head office just tells me its booked in for redelivery every time i call. pullling my hear out

Absoluting shocking service, both from the customer service line and the delivery driver. There's been no attempt to gain access to my property, when all other couriers delivery directly to my door with no problem. I've just checked my delivery status, to find they weren't able to gain access and made no attempt to contact me to resolve the issue. I've made sure my mobile phone was readily available to avoid any complications. I called the customer service line, who refused to re-call the driver to deliver my parcel and stated the driver did nothing wrong. If I purchase anything online and APC are the nominated delivery courier, I will be cancelling my order immediately.

I use a lot of courier companies and I can say without doubt that apc overnight are by far the worst if I could give them minus stars I would .. 7 days I’ve waited for a overnight parcel and after calling them each day it was late I was told they would call me back or it would be here that day and still nothing .. These were batteries for a sheep scanning machine so because of their incompetence they missed there transport so cost me a lot money which I can not afford in these current times I would carefully consider buying anything if they were the courier and I’m looking forward to seeing there reply Thanks

This is the worst logistics company I ever know. They are lying and they are always late with the parcels. Do not use them!!! Calling them since Monday and every day saying it is going out for delivery tomorrow... and now is Friday...

Horrible Company Service We've ordered some oysters, on 14th June, and we were assured that in 2 days delivery we will get our product. We called every single day about updates, and every single day there was a new reason and chivalry. Today, 18th of June I called in the morning and I was assured that my parcel will be delivered today, because they have enough drivers and finally no one is sick because of COVID. In 4 days of delivery they only had 2 drivers apparently, and both of them got COVID in this days, this is what I was told. But, in the evening it changed, I was told that it is gonna be delivered on MONDAY. So, I called again, and I was assured that I didn't call earlier today, and the circumstances are beyond their control. Then I asked her to call the driver, where she started raising her voice and telling me that at 14PM, the driver already finished his shift. And then she put me on hold, and when I tried calling again, my called wasn't answered. This is the worst delivery company, I have ever worked with, and the worst call centre/ customer service, very rude and unreliable.

I paid for next day delivery. I got an email that gave me a two hour window. I tracked my parcel all day, I saw that the driver was in my area all day. Then.. the delivery NEVER happened. The driver chose to not deliver my parcel even though I paid for that particular service. I called their office. The guy on the other end tells me it will be delivered tomorrow. No reason WHY they CHOSE to take MY MONEY FOR SUB STANDARD SERVICE!!! Swindling company deserves a surprise visit from Trading Standards.. then SHUT DOWN.

I’ve used APC for my business for a few years with no issues, however if you need to make a claim don’t bother! I’ve never dealt with a company so blatantly uncooperative in my 22 years of business. What should be a simple claim as they damaged a £500 motorcycle part in transit, has been a backward and forward chain of messages that have asked for things, taking a week to acknowledge returned email and then saying “claim closed” because it’s taken too long! I have given them numerous ways to sort this out and now am taking them to small claims court and reporting them to trading standards.

I ordered a shipment of frozen mice from Northampton Reptile Centre who have a frozen delivery guarantee. The item was shipped on 14th December on a Next Day Delivery by 4pm instruction. The item was out for delivery all day on the 15th December with a delivery time of between 4.41 pm and 6.41pm – this is out-with the delivery time requested by Northampton Reptile Centre in order for the goods to remain frozen. The delivery time came and went and then we were informed that the driver had stopped deliveries for the day because he had “ran out of time”. I emailed to complain to APC Overnight as this was meant to be a frozen delivery. The email response I received assured me that my item would arrive frozen as it was packed accordingly. Today, 16th December, the item was delivered at 3.10pm, in a box marked with large letters, DRY ICE and LIVE FOODS and NEXT DAY DELIVERY BY 4PM – the mice were completely thawed out. This leaves them unsuitable for use at all as they cannot be re-frozen. If re-frozen and then defrosted later to feed your snake, it could kill the snake. I contacted the company to complain but they refused to accept any liability claiming that Northampton Reptile Centre had not marked the delivery as perishable goods. Their customer service is non-existent, they do not care one bit if they fail to make their deliveries on time and you can NEVER get through to the local depot – in my case GLENROTHES, FIFE – as they will not answer the phone regardless of whether you ask for customer service, sales or accounts department. I called the HEAD OFFICE to complain who are just as bad and fob you off saying you have to complain to the company who sent you the goods. I do not see how the sender is liable for the obvious failings of the courier company. DO NOT USE THEM OR USE ANY COMPANY WHICH RELIES ON APC OVERNIGHT FOR THEIR DELIVERIES. Complete failure and let down by this disgusting excuse for a delivery service.

Got my 2 hour time slot, worked from home for the day to make sure I was around. The driver rang my buzzer, I could see him in the Camera so I let him in as I was on a work call. 2 minutes later got a text saying the driver attempted to deliver but I wasn’t in so obviously what has happened is I let him in and he couldn’t be bothered to get in the lift (yes he didn’t even need to take the stairs) so rather than doing his job he opted to say I wasn’t in to save himself the hassle! If you’re looking for a reliable delivery service go elsewhere. When I called them 2 minutes after and said I can’t keep working from home because your driver is lazy she said you can come and pick it up from our depot tomorrow if you’d prefer (their depot which is 40 minutes away from me) why on Earth would I do this when they have been paid to deliver a service and have failed to do so!!!???

Absolutely disgusting service - made me wait in for 2.5 days with two young children, then cancelled the order and sent back to sender. Customer service terrible - one staff member told me it was out for delivery whilst the other cancelled it - lack of communication and spiteful attitude - they do not think about the impact on people’s lives - terrible

Driver passed by my flat today without even attempting delivery.By time I saw the van it was too far down the road to catch on foot. I even tracked the van and it said I was delivery slot 13. That slot come and went. Conveniently I am now unable to track the van. The driver was too plain lazy to enter a gate code (which I provided) and ring my intercom. I simply cannot keep looking out window constantly for each and every van which may or may not be APC. I even provided my mobile number so that the driver can ring me to collect parcel from him. I should not have to go to depot to collect my item and do courier's job for them. ARGOS need to stop using APC as they are a joke

Do not use APC overnight, I Bought item from a company which guarantees next day delivery, for my mother, unfortunately they used APC, I was informed I would receive a two hour window via text, I didn’t, I checked on line to read the driver had written, intercom not answered, it wasn’t used otherwise my mother would have opened the door, I read this statement, within 10 minutes of him leaving it, I contacted the office who said he would return within the hour, he didn’t, after 1 1/2 hrs I contacted them again, I was told delivery would definitely be this afternoon. I had emailed the company from whom I had bought the item from , they replied to me saying they had been advised that the delivery would be made after the courier had picked up some collections. So they cannot use covid/ staffing/drivers as excuses, he had the item in his vehicle and chose not to deliver. If I could have given 0 stars I would have done, they don’t deserve any

This is by far worst courier I've ever come across. Twice they claimed to have attempted delivery. Online tracking is just untrue and unhelpful. I even rang customer service to give them the code to the front gate and my mobile number. I waited in all day and received no phone call whatsoever. My intercom remained quiet. I saw no delivery driver all day. Note to Argos- please stop using this courier!

Be very careful in choosing APC overnight as your courier service. I just recently fell foul to interference of goods by this operator, and after in depth research of APC it was apparent that this operator has an appalling record throughout the industry for offences under the interference of goods act. There contracted courier Logistics Teesside Ltd was tasked with delivering goods purchased, however these never arrived despite there claims, and lack of customer support. The climax came when they left themselves looking unprofessional and embarrassing by sending some guy out to swear down blind he had delivered goods and put them into my own hands, which he knew was not true. At this point it was apparent that an offence of interference of goods had occurred, and the appropriate authorities were contacted.
