“Disgraceful - don't sign up and report them if possible”

All these negative reports are true from my experience. I've just found out Unicom have been charging more than I could have paid elsewhere for the last five years to the tune of hundreds of pounds. When I spoke to them about it an unbelievably rude man talked incessantly AT me for ten minutes. I eventually put the phone down and decided to change supplier. On a subsequent call they said they had renewed my contract for another THREE YEARS and it would cost hundreds of pounds to exit. They proceeded to argue that the alternative supplier would charge ridiculous connection fees and badmouthed everyone. I cannot wait to exit their system.
Be warned - they also demand three months(!) notice to cancel the rolling contract (three years at a time remember). If you're a day late with that request you'll be stuck with them for another 3 years.
The worst telecoms company ever. Go somewhere else. ANYWHERE else.
