If you have a local loan shark use this avenue before going to First Plus, interest rates will probably be lower. Whilst they might not send round the heavies, they will certainly give you a good kicking
Asked for a redemption figure over the phone got told 26,236.86 when i got the letter a few days later it was 26,845.12 and this was with 3678.59 rebate on eary settlement. The sooner this company goes under the better

Yes I totally agree. I have been with First Plus for 8 years and they are not user friendly and completely ruthless. Don't touch them with a barge pole and like the gentlemen says above a local loan shark will probably offer you better interest rates!
