I know someone who worked for this company and they carry out their business very slip handed and cannot keep their investments. Alot of their clients have been pulling out and going elsewhere and i suggest everyone that reads this, do the same as you will only be sorry if you don't. Hope you all find this useful..! Kindest Regards

A beguiling outfit, with a good salesman who left for Barclays Wealth but poor on delivery. They seem doggedly committed to backing a scenario which every Central Bank and Regulator, including the EU, has made it plain is about as likely as Lord Lucan riding by on Shergar. They point to having been right in the past but their performance stats in recent times are pretty awful. They appear to have shifted towards holding geared ETFs in an attempt to catch up, using clients' cash (which they charge for holding) as the couterbalance to the increased risks which these holdings bring with them. Probably best avoided until they come round to a more mainstream view on where the markets are headed. Word is that the FSA is processing a number of complaints.

I transferred my pension to them in 2009 during the financial crisis. Their promise was to protect my investment with a primary goal of out-performing cash in the bank. Not a difficult goal you might think given the dropping interest rates. However, 3 years later my pension fund is worth 25% less than when I started. Key strengths: Active rather than passive management. Access to account online. Nice people. Key weaknesses: They bet on a major market collapse. No hedge strategy and no exposure to equity rallies. After 3 years they are currently 60/40 risk on with no hope of recovering from the losses in the short-medium term. Also infuriating is that they keep large amounts of fund in cash for extended periods and charge a management fee for doing so. Would avoid them until they can demonstrate they can outperform the FTSE (their own measurement criteria) over 6 months / 1 year / 3 years to show some consistency of performance.

I am dealing with investors advised by this firm. The portfolios constructed by this firm are very esoteric and potentially mis-managed. You have rights and if you wish to know your rights, I can happily advise you
