After being notified that I had a final salary pension with them from my employer 40 odd years ago, they sent me forms to complete to get the £47 when I reached my retirement date. I completed the forms with the information they wanted, so far ok, then the issues started, they said that my signature had changed from 40 odd years ago so I would have to submit a copy my driving license ang get a proffesional worker to sign to say they have witnessed it, that would cost me £25 half of what they were going to pay me. I phoned them up and said I will do it if they paid the £25 cost, they said if you send your original license you can get anyone other than family to witness the signature, this I did and sent the form back. My retirement date passed and no £47. I phoned up again and ask why the delay and they said that the witness did not put their professional profesion down to what I replied you told me that it could be anyone as long as it was not family to which they replied sorry that was not right and I could get my banker to sign it, (but all the Bankers are working for AVIVA) so I guess I will wait a little longer and then take them to the small claims court and make them pay the costs as well. STAY CLEAR OF AVIVA.
