“Before Christmas I went through the same thing. Even...”

written by oxGriffin-Alt100 on 11/06/2019

Before Christmas I went through the same thing. Even though I explained to them I needed the money I had for my children for Christmas, they still managed to take £345 on the promise of getting me a loan so I could give my children a good Christmas. They were nasty nasty foreigners who took my money without a care for my children’s happiness. They ruined my families Christmas taking my money.

They have been doing the same to me forcing me to pay £50 insurance to put the loan into my account then tall me to call back and they will put the money straight away to my surprise they asked me to put another £125 and then they will put the loan when I did they told me I put it in the wrong account and who gave me permission to put the loan in without notifying them and that now the money has gone somewhere else and I need to put another £125 call them back or they can wait on the phone while I do it and then guarantee the money would be in. The guy on the phone was speaking to me in such a tone I couldn't believe it!! Then straight away I knew it was a scam. Now all the money I had is gone and no way of me getting it back don't think the banks can get this money back for me. I am left without the loan and no money for me and my children. Please, guys, don't trust this company ever!!

“rip offs”

written by Gordonkz176 on 07/07/2014

I was told i could get £1500 loan off them. They first asked me for £49 then £149 then £100 and then got told they couldnt put my loan into my bank because of my low credit rating. I now realised i have been conned and i am reporting this to the police and the fsa. They took all my money. I have 3 children who because of this company i cannot feed tonight because they took all my money and i had to borrow the last £100 of my sister in law. I am very hurt and upset by all of this. This company should be struck off its disgusting.

“DO NOT USE LOANS 4 YOU”

written by on 02/02/2014

They prey on vulnerable peopl who want to borrow money. DO NOT EVER USE LOANS 4 YOU. they took £100 up front from me and said money would be in my account within 30 mins. They told me to use UKASH. within 30 mins of me paying in the money they had taken it and when i called them they said that i needed to pay another £139 before i could get the loan. I told them that was not part of the deal. I could actually hear them all talking and laughing in the background. I shouted to them down the phone that i wanted my money back. They said you will never get your money back. I was furious. How dare these people from a foreign county by allowed to operate and take money from other people. It sounded like an indian call centre. Yes i was foolish but desparate. They now have my bank account number and sort code and my name and I suspect they can use this to try to take money from my bank. I am so sick of people being able to get away with things like this and never get caught. It is not good enough. I intend to pester these ppl by phone every day on the number. I might not get my money, but they will get an earful each time i get through...

“THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!”

written by pshannonh on 02/07/2013

Ladies and Gents, Turn back now, Do not even look at this poor excuse of a company! First they took my payment upfront with no problems. I was then told by three different people my loan had been accepted, all i had to do was to wait for the money to be sent to my account.. i waited.. for TWO WEEKS! it was after many confused calls from myself that someone actually bothered to inform me that they were a broker NOT a lender and they had passed my account on and they couldnt do nothing about it. even though i had CLEARLY stated my info, they had passed on the wrong info to this loan company. who are now bombarding my phone with call after call. I called nationwide loans 4u asking for my money back as they had not stuck to their end of the deal by finding me a lender and ooops surprise surprise they cant refund it due to some reason or another. Bad Company, Even worse staff, Dont even look at their page, not worth it at all!!!

“what to do about NATIONWIDE LOANS 4 U.”

written by FABAKU on 28/06/2013

[Your Name & Address] [Date] Dear Sir/Madam On the [Date] I made an application to your company for a loan of [Amount]. I have a copy of the agreement which was signed and sent back to you. The [Fee £ Amount] administration fee was paid. I would like to ask that you refund my administration fee minus £5 which by law you are entitled to keep. I would at this time remind you that Section 155 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 provides that a credit-broker may charge no more than £5 for his services if the consumer does not enter into a relevant agreement within six months of an introduction to a prospective source of credit or hire. If the broker has already charged more than £5 for his services and section 155 applies, the excess must be refunded to the consumer upon request. As I have never entered into any relevant agreement the above applies and you are lawfully bound to refund the original administration fee, minus £5. Should you fail to do so, I will have no option but to report your company to the Office of Fair Trading to whom you are licensed by. “Truly the worst experience I have ever had”

written by Smeish on 12/05/2013

I cannot stress how awful this company is. They prey on people desperate for help and take your money. After a telephone application, they advised that I had been successful in my application and they had secured a loan for me. They then said I had to pay an admin fee of £54.99, which I didnt mind at the time as they had confirmed they had secured a loan for me. Needless to say, they hadn't. They took my money and provided me with no loan. They have ignored all of my emails and phone calls. Not only did they lie about a loan, they then provided awful customer service. It has been a horrible experience. I urge people to avoid this company at all costs. I am also in the process of reporting the company, and I suggest anyone that has had the same problem with this company to do the same. It is disgusting how they treat their customers and they need to be stopped.

“DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!”

written by on 10/05/2013

I called nationwide loans for you as they ticked all the boxes for me NO GUAURENTOR, LOW INTREREST & The amount offered was what I needed to pay various other debts and get me back on track! If anything nationwide loans have put me further off getting my finances sorted. When I started the application the first question I asked was "do I need a gareuntor?" And they advised me no, explain how they are govern funded or something along those lines. So I put all trust and faith in them thinking I have finally found a company that are willing to genuinely help. This was not the case they took my money and told me I would be sent and email/paperwork this did not take 3 working days to come through due to an incorrect email clearly due to their sheer lack of attention. This then took another few days filled the form out as asked and sent back, I was told within 3 works days the money would be sent straight to my bank! I knew this was too good to be true and should have used my common sense, 5 days later I contacted them then to be told again they emailed me. Yet still no emails and again this was because they did not change the address from the previous time. I called 'express finance' to query when this would be in my account they then said those words I had asked all along ... You need a gareuntor! So I called nationwide loans and seriously lost it with them all, they were rude, non sympathetic, bad attitudes and I have never felt so belittled in all my life. They explained to me they simply do not know what's happened and will get back to me in a further 2 working days! I may aswell say good bye to my hard earned money and move forward and NEVER make the same mistake again. Vile vile people who should all be sued and closed down!

“I received a call from this company stating that I...”

written by on 01/05/2013

I received a call from this company stating that I have been approved for a loan. I asked them were they got my details from. They stated I applied to other companies recently. The operator stated that I have been approved a loan. The funny thing is they will ask you an amount that you are comfortable to pay every month, only people with really good credit history will get. They will verify your details then ask you for your card details and bank account details. I asked them why they need my card details they stated they need it to verify my identity. I put the phone down asap. Keep away from these people they operate from a call centre in India, staff get paid a commission so they have the drive and passion to do this to people knowing that they will make a percentage. The reality is if a high-street bank cannot loan you the funds speak to friends and charities.

“Nationwide loans 4 U - Do not fall for it.”

written by on 25/04/2013

I contacted Nationwide loans 4 U for a small loan and they accepted it straight away and told me that I would need to pay 54.00 admin fees, they would then release the amount into my account within 3 working days. I told them I would pay the fees on my pay date which left me two days before the money would come out of my account, luckily I did that as I sought advice and I was told that loan companies never ask for fees up front and also to read the reviews which I did. I went to my bank as soon as possible and cancelled my card. I received a text from them telling me that the fee amount had been declined by my bank, yay!!!! AnD just for clarification I also received a text from Amigo loans the day before the fee was due to be paid telling me that they had been passed my details from Nationwide loans for you and could offer me up to 5,000 (as long as I have a guarantor). Needless to say I was one of the lucky ones and managed to cancel my card before they could take it and I will receive my new card in 5 working days. No worries :)

You have 21 days from today in which to refund the requested monies. Please make any cheques payable to [Your Name]

“con artists avoid at all costs”

written by terilou87 on 09/08/2012

this is the worst company i have ever dealt with!! avoid at all costs. I have been conned out of £59.50 by this company, i originally called to find out what implication getting a consolidation loan would have on my credit report, i was told it would be like another loan and all i would need to do is go through a quick application and the money would be in my bank in 3 working days. so i went through all the details and was told i needed to pay and admin fee of 59.50 to process the loan then i would receive a email that i would need to print off sign and send back. naively i agreed. i did not receive the paper work so had to phone to get this emailed again. When i received it, it was not a form to sign but another loan application with terms and conditions saying they were brokers. I was made to think that the loan was going to be from them!! as i had already paid for the admin fee i read the terms and conditions they stated:( Nationwide Loans 4 U Limited here after known as ‘the company’ agrees to refund the administration fee in the unlikely event that they are unable to provide the applicant with the details of a loan for which their application will be accepted.) as this was their terms i sent back the forms. they passed my details on to a loan company who were not able to help me, they then passed my details to "another loan broker" who can only accept me with a garentour which i don't have, i made them aware of this and asked for my money back as they can not provide me with a loan. The woman said she will start an investigation and i will here about this in the next two days. today i received a letter saying we thank you for choosing our service and returning the required paperwork. we regrettably inform you that the lender we had lined up for your unsecured loan has declined your application. therefor you are now entitled to a no obligation assessment with a local advisor. just to cut it short they are trying to put me intouch with a debt management team when i already made them aware that as part of my job contract i can not do this. so again i called today and asked for my money back i was told this would be investigated again. all they are doing is trying to avoid paying me back the money i have paid.i am reporting them to trading standards and the fsa i am so angry, i posted this on here as i did search for reviews and could not find any anywhere.

Thank god i just stumbled accross this site. I was thinking about taking a debt consolidation loan from this company but was waiting until next week to pay the £49.50 processing fee. I specifically asked the woman on the phone if i pay the processing fee is there any way your company can then refuse then loan. She said " no, your loan has been accepted with us and once you have paid the fee we will send you out a copy of your loan agreement to sign and return. Then we will process the paperwork and the money will be in your bank no later than 3 weeks from the day we receive your paperwork back." But after reading these reviews i think i might give it a miss now. Thanks guys

the reason why you couldn't find any reviews is because they had that many bad review they shut it down! they are a complete shambles i had the same problem im not going to write about what happened as it is too much to write and explain again but i will say one thing STAY AWAY FROM ALL THESE BAD CREDIT LOANS AND PAYDAY LOANS ECT THEY ARE THERE FOR ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY TO CAUSE YOU UPSET AND TAKE YOUR MONEY WHEN IN NEED, I WAS SO STUPID TO GET CAUGHT UP WITH THESE PPL!! COMPANIES WHO WANT UP FRONT FEES, STAY CLEAR, YOU SHOULD NOT BE PAYING MONEY OUT TO RECIEVE MONEY!!
