Despite the unprecedented problems of the "virus", I managed to work with a man to choose and take delivery of a lovely star sapphire that had been planned for my wife's anniversary ring. It is now at a UK jewellers being set within her chosen design (with helpful input from the person I dealt with). I would have no hesitation in buying again when the need arises.

It was really easy to look at a wide variety of colors of sapphires and there were a large variety of sizes,colors and prices. I wasn’t sure which stone would work best for my project as I was looking for a stone for a necklace pendant and wanted it to color match the center stone in a ring. I sent photos of the ring and was advised on which stone would be the best match. When I stone arrived I was thrilled with it. It will make a wonderful 30 Th anniversary gift for my bride!

I love the rich magenta red of the 8.32 carat Madagascar star ruby that I purchased from starruby. It’s surprisingly very “gemmy”. I do a lot of online shopping, and I must say I have never dealt with someone as courteous, honest, and knowledgeable as the person I dealt with. He was very communicative and sincere, and made my gem shopping experience a real pleasure.
