“Poor packaging”

I bought a voucher for a necklace+earrings set via Groupon. Delivery took a week and a half but I had been pre-warned, so fair enough. However, when I received it the packaging was appalling. The items were placed in a soft pouch, then in a small envelope, no box or foams as buffer. The earrings were bent quite badly and posts were damaged. In response to the above review, I am the MD of Aspire.
We take great pride in our customer service policy. This customer has failed to add that she contacted us to tell us of the damage caused in transit, and our response was to send out another pair of earrings the very same day. The packaging we used to send out this order was exactly the same as we used to send out the other 850 orders so far despatched, with not 1 other complaint so far. In fact, we have had several emails, thanking us for the speedy service and helpfulness of our staff.
This comment has been noted and we are looking at the possibility of providing boxes. However, we feel we can't be judged on what happens in the post, only on the quality of our products and service we provide.
This review is clearly based on items being damaged in the post.
