Just received delivery on 28/2/12 of your cross leg table and 2 carver and 2 dining chairs. Amazing value and they look stunning.A very prompt and reliable service. The delivery guy and the lady couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. We had a phone call the day before to say they would be here at 7am and they arrived just before. The furniture is top quality from a top company. We would certainly recommend you. Thanks.

I ordered the 6 Tuscan leather black chairs after seeing their website. I first asked for a swatch which came very promptly. I then ordered the chairs between Christmas and New Year, the chairs arrived on the 9th of January. I was dubious of spending such a lot of money without seeing the chairs in person, but I did and I am more than pleased with them. They arrived when they said they would, well packaged and excellent quality for the money. I very pleaed with these chairs and would definately recommend them.

we had difficulty sourcing a narrow solid wood table with a butterfly extending leaf. Found one here cheaper and better quality than the one we had delivered from another store that had arrived damaged. We collected the table ourselves. The young man who dealt with us could not have been more helpful.He discussed the pros and cons of several tables with us with reference to our needs. He then got out and unwrapped 3 table tops so we could choose the particular colour/finish that fulfilled our needs.There was a small mark on the one we chose and he got some liquid wax to check it was a polishing out type of mark. it was. he then gave us the can (with a little wax still in it) so we could order some ourselves. We were offered a coffee too! Very nice shopping experience. nice table and good value for money.

Excess of unnatural looking markings made table look damaged. Considerable inconvenience and hassle before replacement eventually delivered. Would not consider using this company again and wish I had bought from John Lewis - better choice, value and service.

I am very pleased with the product, an oak table and 6 chairs: excellent quality, and good value for money. However, I have some issues with the service. Delivery was very expensive, at £70, and curb-side only. We have an upstairs dining room, and all previous furniture delivery has cost less and included taking the items up the stairs for us. These are very heavy items, and getting the table up the stairs was a nightmare. Once assembled, we found the table would not extend, and needed to be exchanged. Although Top Furniture responded and arranged an exchange immediately, there was an ongoing series of inconvenient last-minute cancellations, and it took 6-7 weeks to sort out. In the end, they gave us a slightly more expensive table at no extra cost, with which I am very pleased, but I would be unlikely to use them again.

"Victoria" solid oak dining chairs with linen pads from oakdiningsets.co.uk are very attractive and comfortable. They appear to be sturdy, well made and finished and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought 8 Tuscan chairs from Top Furniture Ltd (they trade under other names also) as I had previously ordered an oak table and chairs from another internet based company and the table was ok but the chairs could never be described as being leather as they had less than a millimetre of leather on some sort of backing and came out of the boxes all scratched.

I sent the dodgy chairs back and phoned Top Furniture to enquire about their chairs and the customer service was fantastic, they sent me a sample of the leather immediately which was extremely high quality so I felt at ease ordering from them. It took about 5 weeks for the chairs to come which I have found is standard with any furniture, and I've had them now for just over 2 months and I am extremely happy with them. I've caught the leather with studs on my jeans yet the chairs have remained unmarked, I have 3 kids who jump all over them and they are still looking like new. The only suggestion I would make is for there to be floor protectors nailed into the feet as we managed to scrape our floor badly when something got stuck under a leg and have now added nail in studs ourselves (not sure what their technical name is!).

These chairs are extremely good value for money, you won't get anything of a similar quality for the same price anywhere else!

Being a little pedantic - wire on slide opening mechanism is off the runner (however not an issue as it is really not required for the table open or closed).

Having to assemble the table!! Would have been good to see clearer option to have delivery and assembly of product (which I would have paid for !)

Ordering was easy & delivery was easily arranged and quick. We ordered a Talinn table with Charlton chairs and a bench from oak dining sets. All appear to be of good quality.

The table wasnt ready for use when it arrived as only a thin coat of oil had been applied. Some water was spilled on the table and this has marked it. A very light sand and a few coats of oil later it's fine, but the website implies it is delivered ready to use.
