Bought a chair from them 18 months ago. It’s been barely used and when a did eventually sit in it for a few hours it collapsed under me dropping me on the floor. He must be 300lbs you think? Nope - I can promise I sit in chairs all day long in many places with neary a creak ; ) Well surely it will be no problem to get a replacement? As if. The corner sofa we ordered not only came 10 days late but also came with one of the parts being from a completely different sofa. I can now see that their website mention that delivered items should always be checked before accepting them suggesting that this was not a one-off mistake. What a terrible company - Poor customer service. One of the, no the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Basically, we have had to wait over 5 months for a desk for our daughter and in the end we were told today that we will have to wait a further 12-14 weeks. the first desk was delivered opened and damaged, waited for the replacement, then told weeks later via email that they couldn't get another one, then we ordered another style with a few weeks delay which turned into months… Read Full Review

I do a fair amount of purchasing online and although some companies get it wrong now and again, on the whole it works. Not with MADE, non existent customer service, no clear information, misleading details on the website, deliberate avoidance of sorting any issues. bought the Anderson Corner Media Unit, Mango Wood and Brass, which I was lead to believe was made from brass. It turns out to be wood plated with light brass coating. This I consider to be very misleading. Further the shelf does not fully shut after a couple of days use. This is a poor quality product and very mis-leading. The order was wrong TWICE (wrong color of the item). I had to wait for another 10 weeks the first time to get my new item and when it arrived the second time it was wrong again and I had to refuse the delivery. PLEASE CONSIDER YOUR MADE.COM PURCHASE CAREFULLY. After much searching and finding out West Elm no longer had the sofa we wanted, Made.com was the only place we could find a style of sofa that we really liked. The price was surprisingly low but reviews seemed good. It arrived damaged and MADE arranged for a replacement in a few weeks. Despite seductive advertising, their dispatched products are poorly finished and clearly unchecked. A chest of drawers arrived with screws at the back screwing into thin air. A bedside table had wooden supports that had become unstuck, and patches of incomplete paintwork. A mahogany table arrived with scratch marks. This is my 3rd Made.com order. The 1st item arrived in perfect condition. The 2nd item arrived with what was clearly manufacturing defects so I returned it no quibles. My 3rd item has just arrived and has 4 manufacturing defects and 3 areas of damage so 7 defects in total. Any reasonable person would of spotted these defects before dispatch. Placed an order for an armchair at the start of the month with the promise of delivery by Christmas. Lots of emails and texts updating me on the delivery which was booked in today for a morning delivery slot. They overpromised on delivery times and we ended up waiting 14 weeks for delivery. They put the wrong code in on their end, for a different material, so after 14 weeks wait, we didn't even get what we ordered. We now find ourselves without sofas and having to start all over again as they say it would take another 12 weeks to get a new order - and of course no speedy refund even though it's been their fault all along. Where do I begin...first time and last time using this company. Bramante dining table arrived chipped on the surface and badly scratched on the top of the legs. Arranged re-delivery for new table and removal of faulty table, but had jump through hoops with multiple emails and people. What's more, they did not pass on to their (budget) delivery company to remove the old table. Utterly useless company. You get what you pay for. We will go back to reputable stores. Awful experience. Avoid at any cost. I ordered the shoe cabinet Marcell in January, paying an additional fee for Sunday delivery.
