The Worst Company I Have Ever Dealt With!

Do not consider using this company. Read the reviews and you'll find that they are totally unreliable,untrustworthy and tell blatant lies. Like many others, I ordered furniture as a gift for my son's engagement and expected delivery within 7-10 days. It took three months for furniture to be delivered. This was after numerous phone calls and emails,delivery dates which came and went and having to deal with the rudest staff I have ever come across. I only had the furniture delivered after speaking to my credit card company and advising Lights and Furniture/Glow Furniture that I was about to mail my claim. If you have already ordered furniture and been told that items are no longer in stock,delivery date has been changed etc Do Not waste any more time and energy. Contact your credit card company for a refund.

Suppliers/freelancers - DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. They do not pay invoices and are renowned with the local debt collection agency who I have been speaking with. I have unpaid invoices from autumn 2014, and despite many polite emails I have had nothing in return. I am a copywriter and they are using the copy which I supplied even though they have not paid for it.

Cant Recommend Sadly

Although happy with the furniture we ordered we had no end of trouble with delivery. After another no show by the delivery people we cancelled and were offered 10% discount. We accepted but were later told we could have 5% only. Too worn down by the process so we took it. Real shame as the furniture is of good quality and we would buy another matching unit if we could do so with confidence. I note that the link to the web site no longer works.

I Made One Of The Worst Decisions Of My Life By Sp

I made one of the worst decisions of my life by spending £3k on a sofa from this company. I placed my order the end of November expecting to get my order the end of January as this was the timescale on the website. The end of January came nearer, feeling excited I called L&F only to be told my order was due February. The end of February I called again and I was then informed my order would arrive March. In March I called again and I received an apology and a given date of 20th April for the delivery. That date came and went and nothing arrived. By now it started to dawn on me the company was not very professional as correspondence was poor. The beginning of May I emailed the manager informing him I needed an explanation as to what was happening with my order. He supposedly looked into my query and told me there was a problem that had only ever happened once before, which meant that my order was not processed until February. At that stage I was offered an alternative suite or the option to wait for my original order with a discount. I decided to wait for my order but changed my mind as for some reason the discount couldnt be confirmed. How can you offer a discount but ignore emails asking what it would be.This then led to me starting extensive research on this company and lo and behold i found a load of negative reviews and comments online. My next stop was to contact Trading Standards who have been working with me and closely watching the outcome. After further advise I informed the manager my decision would now be only to accept a refund. I was dumbfounded when he told me he wasn't sure if that could be done as the order was on its way WHAT ORDER? After further pointless emails I received a call 25th May telling me I would receive a full refund as the order had finally been cancelled. I asked how long it would take to receive my money I was told 30 days. During that time emails that i sent were ignored. Trading Standards contacted the company a few days later and unbelievably they were told a blatant lie that my £3k had been refunded. The 30 day window has now gone so last week I called and I received a call back telling me it would be investigated as to why I had not received my refund and since then all further phone calls and voicemail messages have been ignored.

I have been caused so much stress over the last 6 months and all because I thought I had found a reputable company. My next stop is Watchdog as this company needs exposure. I do not believe the intention is to refund me but to take my money which is not a wise move with me. So, to sum up I have wasted nearly 7 months. I am now £3k out of pocket and still with no sofa. I would advise anyone with sense to go nowhere near this company. I can only re-iterate what has already been said, if you wish to deal with a company that doesn't answer emails, screens all incoming calls first, then takes your money this is the company to go for.

Meelin2009 thank you for your response. I have had a refund through my bank although it wasn't easy as it wasn't a credit card. I know better now. The other thing is I finally had a lovely new sofa. Thank you once again and a Merry Xmas to you.

If u paid by credit card get your credit card company to pursue a claim on your behalf.

Avoid At All Cost!!!!!!!!

I ordered a corner sofa in December 2014 and didn't recieve it until March 15. It had arrived the wrong color ,they then sent me the same color sofa again in June, 6 months later, which was returned, I am now still in the same position with the same sofa delivered in March, I paid £1200 , they did apologies back in March but now contradicting themselves that this is the colour I had ordered even though I have a beige sofa and requested the color Grey?????? Thankfully I have all the emails and evidence saved and will be going to my solicitors and informing Watchdog!

PAID INTO A DIIFFERENT NAME ACCOUNT, GOODS NEVER ARRIVED, KEPT FOBBING ME

OFF WITH DIFFERENT DATES,,CREDIT CARD COMPANY GOT INVOLVED THEY THEN TOLD

ME THEY COULDN'T GET GOODS & WERE NOT USING THIS SUPPLIER ANYMORE YET

THEY ARE STILL SELLING THE SAME ITEM NOW! AVOID AT ALL COSTS, THEY FOB YOU OFF, NEED REPORTING TO TRADING STANDARDS!!!

Order goods, paid in full on 1.12. 2014. Chosen delivery 12. or 15. 12. Dispatched on 11. 12. Waited on both days no delivery. Numerous phone calls, they couldn't tell me where is it. Email delivery will be on 18. 12. Waited in time slot I was given, NO DELIVERY. 19. 12. checked xdp tracking, it was delivered, not to me. 200yards down the road, as they gave xdp incomplete address and xdp delivery to different post code. I went to collected, don't do that!!!! They breached the contract by not delivery and it was also damaged. I asked for refund which I was entitled to due breaching contract. I was told as I technically have goods, I have to wait to be collected and that will be some time in January. I stuck with dirty big box in my small 1 bedroom flat. They have all excuses on planet, nobody knows what is going on and don't contact you, you have to contact them. I January I have to call them again, excuses about date of collection. Finally it was collected, than I had to phone about refund, took them another month to refund me, terrible customer service. I pad in full 1. 12. I got refund end of February 2015. No compensation or real sincere apology.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

I can only reiterate what others have stated. Ordered and paid for products in full. Waited nine weeks for delivery then the wrong products arrived. Still haven't received the correct goods six weeks on. Staff are rude, unhelpful and unapologetic and now don't respond to phone messages.

Please save yourself the stress and do not order from this company!

What An Utter Disgrace!!

I ordered some sofas in January. I paid £838 for 1 sofa and a chair. I have still not recieved the goods and the telephone numbers provided go to answerphone. I have emailed on 3 occasions too. This company is to be avoided!! I have reported them to trading standards.

Yes,this is the same company please stay clear. Don't make the mistake I did the website seems enticing because of the prices. Shop elsewhere.
