Told the item was in stock and a two week delivery. Assumed all the bad reviews were for large orders etc. This was a one box order. Well two months gone, no goods, no contact, and nothing to show for it. No fool like an old fool. I thought ‘iwantoneofthose’ was the worst company in the UK, but this one man band and his terrible attitude might just take that title. Do yourself a favour, buy from a reputable company and not this useless outfit. Check trustpilot as well for all the horror stories.

Without hyperbole this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. As previous reviews have noted they are very poor communicating with customers and the lengthy time for goods to arrive is laughable. After getting sick of waiting, I said that I would require a refund if they could not meet a said date. The date came and two out of four of my items arrived. When I eventually got on the phone to them they said they had a problem with distributing - and put it down to poor communication. Incompetence I think is more fitting. Avoid at all costs, and then avoid again.

After many years, our vinyl collection is now stored in alphabetical order and very easily accessible. The red double storage cubes look fabulously contemporary and fulfil the task of a neat and tidy storage solution. The cubes are very well constructed, and were packed really well, thus avoiding any risk of damage in transportation.

It takes a while for the lead time in manufacture and delivery, but worth the wait.

Communication with I cubes was excellent, e mails were responded to within a couple of hours. As testament to the service and quality of the product, I have ordered another double cube.

Received order within advertised lead times. Storage Cubes arrived very well packed and in perfect condition. High quality items at good prices will be back for more when I fill up the cubes I have. Replied to emails and enquiries quickly.

My wife bought one of these for me for my birthday in August. In all fairness the confirmation did say 2-12 week delivery. She was very disappointed with this. We received no more communication from them until my wife chased them again. I then emailed them and asked them for an update. I was told my goods were on schedule. They then added a delivery date outside of the time scale. I immediately asked for a refund and they agreed without putting uo any argument.

So far no refund.

I suspect that this is one guy with glossy advertising ordering the item for China in batches. Shonky quality by the look of other reviews on here and ling delivery times!!

I will be contacting him again today to see if he will refund my money anytime soon

AVOID

I waited 13 weeks for 4 DVD shelves. They are basically mdf that has been stuck together and spraypainted. One of the shelves has arrived damage. Waiting to hear back from them re replacement.

They look okay but there are no fixing parts even though they say standalone or can be wall mounted. I have bought from another cube company before and at least they have wall mounted parts on them in case uyou do want to wall mount. There is no way these will be flush on a wall without pre wall mounts.

I think as most people pointed out. Go to Ikea.

Having just received my first order from I-cubes I have to say that I am extremely impressed with the quality and look of my cubes. The build quality is excellent, these are not lightweight flimsy boxes, they are absolutely rock solid. They arrived packed in heavyweight cardboard crates without a scratch on them, four days earlier than expected. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone and will certainly be using I-cubes again

I-cubes, I have had a number of these and although they do the purpose and I can't find anything else that can I won't be buying anymore. If you go for the basic white you will be OK, any colour, including black comes off easy and I have had to touch up with spray paint. The tops scratch and damage very easily and you will have to put a glass top on the top one or it will look terrible in just a few months.

On this order I have constantly asked where it is and get told it's not ready yet and it's now 4 months and I am still waiting to hear from the courier. If they have that much they should be taking on more staff or expanding not have customers waiting like this. Maybe they think this will have people thinking they are popular and good quality but the quality still needs improving for the price.

They are stack-able and neat which is why I need them, I have a lot of vinyl and dvds to store in a small space and I don't want un-nessessary un-used space you get from other furniture that is not built to the purpose. They do the job and are neat but unless you are prepared to wait a long time for not so great quality I would go to Ikea

I echo many of the previous comments wish I had read these warnings prior to ordering.

Very poor quality item - certainly not up to the standards of 'craftsmanship' stated in the website. They were indifferent to my complaint - saying return it at my own cost.

Specifically - lengthy wait for delivery, glue marks, poor quality lacquering, defects in the plywood. Ikea would do better than this for £15.

I have opened a PayPal dispute to get a full refund. Will update one way or the other.
