“Good luck”

Tried ringing over a 10 day period, no answer, left voicemail but no call back. Eventually got an email which I replied to, this email asked for availability and price for 55 m2 of turf , no reply. I rang again and again, no answer and no reply to emails. I am at a loss to understand why they do not seem to be able to answer the phone or take an order. Perhaps 55 square metres is too small a quantity. Past caring now and ordered elsewhere… Read Full Review

I was recommended to try perfect turf by a friend who's turf they laid which looked very good, i fancied laying the turf myself so i had them deliver it this morning. They turned up on time, the man that delivered was helpful, the turf that i've now finished laying is very good, and the price was very reasonable, so i'm a you could say i'm a very happy customer!… Read Full Review

I'm very impressed with the service Perfect Turf have provided for me in replacing my old lawn with a brand new one. The online quoting service was fast and easy, we arranged a date and they arrived when they said they would and got straight down to business churning up the old lawn, and replacing it with a very impressive new one. “Be warned”

The quality of turf and labour is so poor, I have been left with a patchy lawn open joints and wild grass in areas next to dried out grass. The turf contained a variety of weeds including clover which I have had to remove by hand. I sent photos of the shoddy laying and condition of turfs within 3 days of the work taking place, I did receive an e-mail back telling me to keep watering. "Don't be taken in"
Totally agree with this comment as I experienced exactly the same problems with the front lawn they laid in March this year. I watered the lawn as recommended but all to no avail. Virtually every turf consisted of a different types of grass with patches and dead areas even after 7 months. I had to fill the gaps with soil and grass seed myself but still need to lift and replace turfs where they have never grown. I rang the company on numerous occasions but never managed to contact anybody. Left messages but never received any replies.
Sent emails, together with photographs of the state of the lawn but never received any acknowledgment . I can only think that the glowing praises posted must have been written by the company themselves as my own lawn in far from a "Perfect Turf" . On no account should you be taken in by the professional looking website as you will end up regretting it. I will be contacting Watchdog and proving them with copies of my correspondence and photo's in support of their report.

“Imperfect turf, poor work”

The turf was dried out like cardboard when it was laid and some of it was very poor quality so that we have been left with patches - some rough bits and others very fine but none of it all the same. There were wide gaps between some of the pieces of turf and the soil base was not rolled so that now it has settled it is very uneven and will have to be filled in. They were prompt and pleasant but I really regret hiring using this company… Read Full Review

Totally agree. The company and standard of work was appalling. Had to back fill all the gaps and reseed. Now having to replace dead grass that never started growing. Don't be tempted by the professional looking website. You will defiantly regret it!!!!!!!

“Poor quality turf and absolutely no customer service”

www.perfectturf.co.uk This company claims to provide good quality weed free turf, we purchased the turf for two new lawns and the service of removing the old and laying the new. This was back in March and we diligently watered and cared for our new lawns. When weeds started to appear and large tufts of very strong grass I wrote to Perfect Turf and attached photos of the weeds, no response I have since telephoned and left messages and re emailed.
