First of all they advertise their company as uk based when there Chinese , illegal first of all , my wig arrived and it’s awful quality it’s rubbish would not recommend to anyone not even a dog

This wig was so bad it was funny. Worst quality I've ever seen with my own eyes. I mean there's nothing good going for this wig.......a waste of hair to be honest. It's a fake website!!! Chinese rubbish being sold on a website pretending to be uk based. When I finally stopped laughing I requested a refund several times. Eventually someone emailed me back asking for pictures to be sent of the wig (in outrageously bad English). Their reply was that its a lovely and just as advertised. I replied to disagree with their assessment and have never heard back. Please don't waste your money

This isn't a UK company and they are totally unscrupulous. The wig is totally the wrong colour, the hairs are falling out (I only got it today!) It is human hair which means you should be able to style it - guess what, that couldn't be further from the truth. It bares no resemblance to the wig I thought I was getting. It took over a month and not 12 to 15 days. They lied constantly about tracking numbers and despite trying to cancel it for the past 15 days they refused to refund my money. Disgusting people preying on people at a vulnerable time in their life!

The website looked good so after a long search I decided to order a wig which looked perfect for me. Waited over a month for the wig which was surprising as the company is trading as a British company. Had I known that this was not a British company I would not have made the purchase. The wig arrived in a plain box. When I opened the box I was extremely disappointed as I had spent more than usual on this wig. It was rubbish and didn't look anything like the picture on the website. It was not something you would want to be seen in. I complained to Prowigs and they said it was the wig I purchased. I raised a dispute with PayPal but they decided in Prowigs favour. So I have lost my money. I am a pensioner so the whole experience has been very painful in every way. PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF PROWIGS.

Just purchased a new 3/4 wig and I'm very happy. The quality and length are exactly as described the only negative was it took just a bit longer to arrive but after saying that it was made in the colour and length I wanted. Would order from them again.

I ordered this wig knowing my chemotherapy treatment was soon to rob me of my hair. The advertised website looked genuine and in UK, but it's not. It's in China. After a couple of reminder emails, it arrived a couple of days ago. SHOCK HORROR - It was nothing like the wig advertised and wasn't even human hair. Furthermore, attached to some of the strands were what I suspect to have been lice eggs. I emailed Prowigs right away and asked for a full refund of £94. They did at least reply asking for further details of the wig I received, which I've done. Reading other reviews, I'm expecting them to ask me to return it, never hearing from them again or getting my refund. DO NOT BUY FROM PROWIGS. They shouldn't be allowed to trade.

Do not buy any wig from here, they are based in shangai and completely use poor quality hair, no the right colour or the quality expected for the money you pay!

Paid £120 for a badly made wig that looked nothing like the one in the photo, in fact I've bought better quality ones on eBay for fancy dress for less than £10! The wig was supposed to be human hair but it clearly wasn't, Prowigs said we could test that it was real hair with fire as it was fireproof!!! After several attempts at trying to get the money back and just going round in circles with them asking for photos and insisting it was made to order and very high quality we raised a claim with PayPal but they ruled in favour of Prowigs. Beyond terrible. I spent circa 200 pounds on a natural hair wig and paid promptly on the 18th of January, They said it takes 7-10 business days to make the wig and 1-3 business days for delivery. They are meant to IMMEDIATELY provide a tracking number once the item has been sent. It is the 16th of FEBRUARY and I AM STILL WAITING FOR THE WIG. No info was given for the lateness, I had to chase them up. First the said it was in quality check...that lasted 4 DAYS?...I dont think so. Then I demanded they send the wig out and my money back....they said the wig had already been sent out but they for some mystical reason...could not provide me with a tracking number. I AM NOT DUMB...they are obviously LYING. I have been asking for a tracking number but getting utter radio silence even though they are supposed to respond to enquiries WITHIN 12 HOURS. I have NEVER been so angry in my life with such SHODDY LOW-RENT SECOND RATE ABYSMAL service. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE DEGENERATES. And to top it all off, they keep trying to avoid acknowledging that they owe me compensation for this rubbish. NEVER MIND that I am 200 pounds out of pocket AND NO WIG. LITERALLY avoid them like the plague. WISH i could post this on a banner on their flippin homepage... USELESS INCOMPETENTS

Don't be tempted to buy from this company!!!! They sell cheap Chinese rubbish. I've wasted £70 on a rubbish wig. The paperwork confirms it came from Shanghai and total US dollar value is $10.00 !!!!! Disappointed to say the least.

We ordered a wig from Prowig's before Christmas for our daughter and when it arrived it was not the colour and style of the picture, in fact it looked a mess and hair was falling out as you handled it. We have tried to get our money back and all they said was that we would loose 50% if we returned it to them as it is hand made to size which we feel it is disgusting and we also feel that we would not get anything back. This company should not be trading and should be removed from paypal.

ordered a lace front wig from these wantons at a cost of £120.00....was told it would be made in their uk factory and take aprox 3 weeks.....it took nearer 5 weeks and when it arrived i was excited at having bought a decent wig....WRONG was i not....not what i ordered and couldn't even brush it into any style ......was like a birds nest...frizzy and raggy and was shipped from china....the product has now gone to bed in the bin forever more stay clear of this lot...they should be shut down

I thought it was a UK company as it had a UK website yes it caught me out. So sad thought I'd buy my daughters a new style as she has had to were wigs all her life. The wig arrived eventually not quite the write colour but definitely not the shape and style requested. It's so sad to find people abuseing people who need lots of support as been bald is a medical condition or due medical treatments in the cases of Cancers. They should not be allowed to supply or be on a UK website.

I was led to believe that this was a UK company, I should of known better. When it arrived after four weeks and three chase up emails, I couldn't believe the state of it, wrong style wrong color and wrong size. You wouldn't wear it for a Halloween party never mind normal day to day events. I have seen better quality in our local pound shop than this. Oh and guess what the second you complain they don't want to know. Off to PayPal to let them sort it out.
