Boots.com cancelled my order without specific explanation AND TOOK MY MONEY!
24 hours later, the amount is still debit on my current account and I have been told (via a phone call to customer services that took them 30 minutes to answer) that it may take 3 to 5 business days to refund!?!?!
Seriously?!
Yes, believe it or not, the explanation given via the phone was that one of my items (I ordered 15 packs of wet-wipes because they were on offer and it was a good buy) was out of stock or I was ordering too many. So the order,m which included 5 other items, was completely cancelled.
There was no warning when I added the items to my basket - no restriction imposed and it was only 15, not 150!

Whatever the explanation, there is ZERO justification for ANY retailer to process a payment and THEN cancel the order without issuing an IMMEDIATE REFUND.
I will never shop at boots again. Be warned.
