We ordered a delivery and my partner received the message 'order confirmed'. When the order didn't turn up I called Ocado customer care and was told repeatedly that either my card service provider did not confirm the payment or that the cookies on our laptop were at fault. I kept asking if either of these were the case why did my partner receive the 'order confirmed' message. This was repeatedly ignored. When I asked to make a formal complaint the customer care operative (I use the term loosely) asked me to wait three times whilst 'conferring' before repeating that it was either the card providers fault or the cookies on the laptop. These people are charlatans and they need to rethink their excuses script before they have no customers left.
