BUYER BEWARE

I purchased 20 cases of non alcoholic Kopparberg cider. I was emailed two days later that there was a pricing error. They offered me out of goodwill to "Proceed with the order by paying for one case at the correct price of £14.49, and we’ll include three additional cases at no extra cost or cancel the order entirely, in which case we’ll issue you a full refund.". i asked for them to refund me the order (so that i could actually make the £14.49 payment) and that i would then make the 14.49 purchase ""Hello If you would like to refund me the amount I originally paid and then I will make the £14.49 payment after I receive the refund into my account. Regards". They sent the refund and i made the £14.49 payment. After that they got in touch with me again saying "I hope you are well and apologise for the delayed response. Please place the order as usual for the 1 case and I will speak with the management regarding the 24 bottles offer we provided previously. Once you have placed the order, please email us the order confirmation number.". All seemed to be going well until i got another message 3 days later saying "It appears there was a mix-up on my part — I had mentioned that you would receive three cases free of charge, but I’ve since realised I misunderstood the information provided by our team. I’m truly sorry for any confusion or disappointment this may have caused. As a gesture of goodwill, we’d be happy to offer you the three cases at the same price you paid for your initial order, rather than at the standard rate." So two acts of fault, both of which had been paid for by myself, with the latest being carried through until they suddenly decide they don't want to go ahead and give me that offer anymore and WANT TO CHARGE ME for the privilege of the product they already mispriced and then tried to offer me for free. They then tried to worm out of it by saying " it was clarified that the goodwill offer was to either receive a full refund (which you requested and we have honoured) or to receive three cases for the price you initially paid - which I misunderstood for offering 3 cases free of charge. " as if somehow me being clear and honest with them from the start about the buying procedure and them accepting what was happening to the point of me giving them a confirmation number, somehow indicated that i picked a full refund and to cancel the transaction entirely. To date there has been no change in their stance and thus have been reported to trading standards for misleading business practices and breach of contract. BUYER BEWARE terrible customer service, terrible business practices with VERY questionable integrity.

DONT NOT BUY FROM THESE TWIRPS! these idiots sent me a bottle with a loose lid with 2/3 of the bottle gone, potentially the drink could of been tampered with, save your health and order from a more professional company ????‍♀️ these idiots don’t do customer service either it’s the customers fault…..

I ordered a johnnie Walker gold they sent the wrong whiskey so they sent another one which was alao wrong so I sent both back for a refund they said both bottles were opened and not full NOT BUY ME think it was there wearhouse men who got told off so they would not refund me my £87

Hideous Customer Service!!

Ordered two bottles, one for myself and one for a present. The one intended as a gift to my surprise had a free glass in a boxset... On further inspection, the glass had smashed (presumably via their courier, wouldn't be surprised if it was broken before it was wrapped though to be fair). Small shards of glass fell onto my bedding and rug where my two year old plays, I contacted them, with pictures, yet their customer 'service' could only "offer their utmost apologies".

Now I don't care about losing a glass that I never intended to buy, what I DO care about is the sheer disregard for their customers, delivering a DANGEROUS item that I was unaware of. Imagine if I had given that present without checking and my friend had cut themselves on it, I would be mortified and do more than just offer my utmost apologies.

DISGUSTING, VILE, INCONCEIVABLY HEARTLESS AMATEUR BUSINESS! Stay well away. They do not deserve your money!

UPDATE!

I managed to call through, and the kind lady had already noticed the transaction as there were a series of orders placed at the same time to be delivered to the same person, yet each order had a different billing address.

I had a pleasant experience calling and speaking to them. I haven't placed an order with them, so I can't comment on what that aspect of the business is like.

Interesting... I found I was charged close to £40 yesterday by these guys, yet I've never heard of the business until now. I've had my card cancelled and reported this company to my bank's fraud team. Sounds like they've taken this, as their new business model :(

Just Not Good Enough

Ordered some cocktails for a party as I had been given a promo code to use, everything showing in stock on the website but then I get a call an HOUR after it was supposed to have been despatched to say they "discovered" they don't have stock.

Even today the stock shows as being there on their website - absolutely shoddy, no way I'd use these people if I had an urgent or specific need.

Terrible Customer Service

I had a question about an item i was considering so I contacted the team. Their response was rude and abrust and I was told to 'Google it yourself' when I informed them i thought it was a little rude I was told I was speaking to a manager. I will never use them again after this. Disgusting.

Awful. Go Elsewhere!

Having ordered two bottles on December 19th to be delivered before Christmas for presents, and paying extra for the 'guaranteed delivery', I received an email on December 23rd saying that due to the volume of orders, that I would receive my bottles on Christmas Eve by Royal Mail 24hr delivery. I didn't.

I received an email on the 28th saying that I was going to get a full refund within 5 days. No apology or explanation. Had they told me that they were too busy to fulfil orders, I would have gone elsewhere. Truly appalling customer service. I would not recommend, nor use again.

Terrible Service. Do Not Use This Company

Placed my order on the 11th dec. stated delivery 3-5 days yet nothing has been delivered. Customer service person replied saying is out for delivery a week later and goods shall be delivered today 22nd. Guess what? No goods! I'm not surprised by the reviews I've seen. Please don't be tricked and don't use this company. I Really hope that my refund I requested will be done asap so I can just go to asda and by it myself.
