I Filled In All Information To Obtain A Simple Obi
I filled in all information to obtain a simple obituary and then paid the $1 to get the report and the report came back with information on someone totally different, not even the same name or same state of the information I gave.

Tried this site. They could not provide any info on the person I wanted. Then I see an additional charge of $18.95 on my card!! I am trying to get a refund and to cancel my account. But so far no luck. I may have to cancel my card and report them.. I hope it doesnt get to that.

I followed all the prompts and was given a price of $1 for a single report. Based on this I paid, then I was informed the site could find nothing on my subject. I opened a chat and said I thought this was a scam as they did not even come up with the info I had found on my own, It was then I was told that I had agreed to pay $18.95 a month for their services. Why do you continue to apologize, while the company continues to either defraud their customer base or doesn't honor its discounts which are offered?
I am NOT the only person here who has a complaint, and where this complaint is about how we are led to believe that we are paying only $1.00 at that time? Even if its a free 'trial only" offer, its unethical to attempt to charge of $18.95 and especially prior to billing for the so-called bargain rate of $1.00.
Instead of finding yourself with the need to apologize all the time, why not FIX the companies billing POLICIES first! and become an ethical company?
I just found out today when my bank contacted me, that I also have the same issue, of being lured in for a $1.00 fee, but where the actual charges were attempted for the $18.95 instead!
My bank person told me "what was really sad???Is they attempted to charge my account the $18.95 FIRST! Only after the THIRD attempt to charge my card, did they attempt to charge the $1.00 charge which I believed was the ONLY charge being done.

I have tried for over an hour to find out the date of death of a dear friend that I had lost touch with over the past couple of years. Every site I went to except for this one offered you a "Free Trial" that you needed to cancel with in the free trial period or they would charge your credit card for the membership. This is a great service for someone like myself that rarely looks up reports and does not need a membership. I will definitely recommend and use this service when the need it there.
