BUT it was no longer available. They recommended a different one, which I ordered, but never received. I chased the order several times, with no response. So I asked for my money back, which I received a lesser amount than I paid. I gave up, why was the money taken for the origial order when the item was no longer available.

Placed an order for an item that showed as in stock and then the order email said it wasn't. Then emailed and called several times and got zero response. Had to issue a paypal claim one month later!

Ordered a Davis mounting tripod over two weeks ago and had nothing but an email telling the order was being ‘processed’. I’ve emailed them asking for an up update with no response and then I called them but no one picked up. Zero communication from them - I will never shop with these people again

Ordered binoculars for a Christmas gift.date of order 30th November.........received an email thanking me for my order,3 days later received an email saying my order was being processed,4 days later ( 1 week after order ) I received an email saying that item was out of stock & would not be available until January...............how does it take a week to check item availability......total waste of time..........refund given........now having to source replacement......

Bought an item off their website, paid via Paypal. A few days letter I receive a message from Paypal saying "Payment refunded". No follow up from Mendip Weather, no explanation included on the Paypal refund. I don't know if the item is just out of stock temporary or permanently. Not receiving the item now puts me in a place where I could be replacing the village weather station but unsure if I should be progressing this through Mendip Weather as they seemingly do not appear to communicate :(

After reading some of the reviews on here. I thought I would give Mendip Weather a try. My experience has been great they went out there way to answer questions I put to them and put me a easy and talked me through all the options they had on there web site. I will be using them again when I order a weather station. Well done Mendip Weather

I received an order placed with Mendip Weather and needed assistance with an issue I had. I called and left messages. I emailed. I messaged them on Facebook. No reply at all. Nothing!

Ordered a Davis Vantage Vue with the Weatherlink data logger (Mac version) as a 'bundle'. Price was good, with a saving of about £75 over purchasing the items separately. Both products were listed as available, so also paid for the expedited delivery. After a few days with no sign of the delivery I asked f they could supply a tracking number. Turns out the order had not been dispatched as the data logger was out of stock, however they were waiting a delivery in the next few days so I agreed to wait. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, so I requested they send the weather station now and the datalink ASAP. To be fair, they did take the data logger off the order, with a promise that I will be able to order the logger at the discounted price once stock received (again, 'next few days'), so I would not lose out. Almost a month later and numerous emails, online text messages and unanswered telephone calls (with voice messages left) I am still without the logger. Their site still says 4 available ...WTF?

What is annoying me most is I cannot now purchase the data logger elsewhere at the discounted 'bundle' price, so I'm £75 out of pocket on the deal. If I had known the true position at the outset I would have gone elsewhere.

Beware - they take your money for stock they don't hold and then ignore any form of communications. Pity as the prices are competeive, but customer service is appalling. I should have read the reviews first and placed my order with another company.

Order placed 3 weeks ago and shipped to the billing address in the UK not to the delivery address in a different EU country. Worldwide postage paid for as part of the order, emails and phone calls not answered, still awaiting contact and the product. AVOID!
