“Dreadful customer service ”

Please see below details of my contact with Curry’s to date regarding the above order, which has resulted in a number of hours trying to get in touch with customer services:

1st July – order TV for my mother, which turned out to be a 24 inch screen, so
2nd July – contacted customer services, and arranged for an exchange to a 32 inch tv which was confirmed by email.
3rd July – 24 inch TV delivered as agent had not cancelled delivery, I was advised that a 32 inch TV would be sent out immediately on receipt of the original order. Contacted customer care – pick up arranged for Monday 6th July by DPD.
7th July – 24 INCH TV arrived at Curry’s warehouse
8th July – contacted customer services to ask for update, advised that email regarding delivery was imminent
13th July – contacted customer services to ask for update, advised that item considered lost in transit, and would receive an email regarding delivery within 72 hours.
15th July – no email received, so contacted team via Facebook – advised that investigation would take 14 days, previously had been told email would be received in 72 hours. When advised that this was unacceptable, and requested transfer to a manager was acknowledged. I have now waited for an hour for this to happen, which I feel is more than reasonable considering the hours spent on the telephone also.

As this debacle is no fault of my mothers, who is being greatly inconvenienced by this, this is not acceptable. I am giving Curry’s this last chance to resolve this issue before I take the matter further via Trading Standards
