AVOID! Their operations are mainly focused on getting people into a 1) pre-paid diagnostic analysis, then 2) give a bogus, way overpriced quote, followed with 3) weeks later revisiting that rate and increasing the price again (now to 7x of normal market price) and 4) in case of complaints vanish with the already prepaid amount. Impossible to get a reply or an explanation from them, let alone a solution or a finished repair. Be very careful with them! … Read Full Review

DON’T USE THIS COMPANY WHATEVER YOU DO! After several months of attempting to repair a fault on my oven Glotech have still been unable to resolve the problem. 4 Engineer visits, over £200 spent and no result. After the last visit I was told that they would refund the parts as it was clear it wasn’t those and I hadn’t used the oven. I was also told that the Senior Engineer would call me that day. “Awful terrible poorer than poor service”

Poor poor poor. DO NOT USE, GO ANYWHERE ELSE! First day, installers claimed they did not have the right part. Second try, no part again claimed the smell of cannabis & said they were hallucinating, but drove off no problem. People do not hallucinate from the smell of weed, it was later I found out the worker who turned up basically couldn't be bothered to do the job, the part was probably with him. I would have given a negative star review if I had the option. This company is awful, please do not be a victim. i had a technician visit to us for fixing Miele dishwasher. The drain light was flashing and the machine was not draining. The glotech technician did nothing, just blow the air from his mouth through hose pipe and said he has cleared the garbage and problem is fixed. We paid fee of £113 and he left. Do not use this company for repairs! Absolutely appaling service. Initial visit happened and spare part paid for by me in advance but then the problems start. Booked a repair for the freezer part of a fridge freezer - paid the £98 - guy came said the problem was it needed a regas. Came back 2 days later to do it - had to pay another £90 for the regas. It didnt work the freezer is the same as it was before . Rang and was told it was now unrepairable and would have to buy a new one ! Sent wrong part after giving make, model number, & part number.I had to pay postage to send back plus their postage to send me the wrong part, twenty pounds wasted. Requested refund after being told they had not got the correct part in stock.Returned part waited for over a week no contact from Glotech to say they had received it. An engineer turned up after waiting 7 hours. The company didn’t update me on the reason for the delay. I had to call 5 times to find out why the engineer wasn’t coming. I was told the engineer’s English ‘wasn’t very good’ but it turned out to be inexistent. He couldn’t tell me what was wrong with the machine. He spent 10 minutes at home, if that. I booked Kent appliance world via Glotech.com. service was bad from start to finish. I booked an appointment for 8am to 1pmto fix a dishwasher , I reported to them that I had a Bosch dishwasher and the water was not heating. I was told that there vans keep the latest Diagnostic equipment and they will spend all the necessary time to identify the problem and repair on site as they have an 80% fix rate or they can order spare parts within a couple of days. “Don't be fooled, Glotech will just waste your time!!”

Needed a repair to a tumble dryer and chose Glotech as they showed available slots the next day. Don't be fooled... The website will let you book your slot and even send you a confirmation email. They do this to stop you searching other suppliers. Then when you have arranged to be off work and wait for the engineer you will get a phone call saying that slot is no longer available and the next availability is in over a weeks time. I dropped a heavy object onto my glass Hob, causing it to crack. I spoke to member of staff over the phone, who was very polite and helpful. He had to investigate if the glass could be replaced and the cost. He returned my call within 30 mins of my enquiry and provided all the answers, including a delivery timescale. “My washing machine saga”

My machine was not emptying so a man came this morning and fixed it. There was a stone in the propeller in the pump. He was quick efficient knowlegeable and polite. Booked an engineer on-line. On the day due his partner rang to rearrange as he was "so busy". Rearranged for later in the week between 9.00-10.00. I booked a glotech engineer to come to see my broken washing machine. I booked an appointment on-line and took the day off work. I was then called to say the engineer couldn't make that day so it had to be the following day. I had filled in the fault in-line so expected the engineer to be prepared with any parts. “Extremely Bad Service”

Paid £92 for a five minute visit, was unhappy to pay £310 for a new door, when a plastic water pipe was the problem. It seems the easier option to collect £92 for a very quick visit. If a sealed door unit is likely to be advised, as the exact problem and location in the appliance was known prior to the visit, I should have been advised in advance.
