This company is very eager to take your money but customer service you can forget I ordered a watch which has not arrived As other people have mentioned the customer service is not up too much My e Mails were ignored as well I have finally got a response stating that they dispatched the item and they can only asume It has been lost in the post I have now asked for a refund Decided to go somewhere else for my watch Be warned with this company

My ordered was delivered last saturday , I have been on the telephone for 25 mins. tot try and get a number for sending it back because it not what I ordered. the telephone message was for 5 people in front of you, it was still after 25 mins. 5 people in front of you .

Put an order in on the 8th July 2016 never heard any thing back phones are switched off not answering emails, they took my money out my bank on the 11th July lucky it was only 19.99 but thats not the point. This is just a bad firm taken your money DO NOT SHOP HERE

Ordered and paid for a simple animal furniture protector for a sofa in March 2016. The online order tracking application didn't work. After a month, I sent a message to HSS from my order page requesting an update. I received a reply from the trader indicating that the item had been re-ordered and would be in their warehouse by 29th April. I'm still waiting and have no optimism that the order will be fulfilled. I have now requested either confirmation that the item has been despatched or a full refund. The level of complaints against this trader indicate a failing business which is potentially fraudulent and is certainly contravening the Consumer Rights Act. I will be taking this complaint to Trading Standards and would strongly advise consumers not to order from Home Shopping Selections.

I ordered a set of wireless headphones on Feb 22nd and enclosed a cheque to the value of £22 98. The cheque was cashed on 29th Feb but I still await my headphone set. Telephone enquiries are a waste of time as the given ohine number is temporarily out of order. It has now been temporarily out of order for several weeks. E Mail enquiries are completely ignored and my intention now is to see what the Trading Standards Office are able to do about it. I would not touch this company again, even with the proverbial barge pole.

I ordered a defrost tray, returned it for refund, received an email to inform me the item had been received but refund never materialised despite repeated emails and phone calls (which were never answered and always met with the same recorded message no matter what time of day it was rung). Had to take the matter up with my credit card company in the end, who dealt with the matter. This company should not be trusted and should not be allowed to trade.

Same service as everyone else ordered a tablet which apparently was in stock when ordered but did not arrive. Better than other customers received a refund after one phone call and one email. Unfortunately now my husbands credit card has been hit for several fraudulent transactions. The bank has cancelled the card and is reporting it to the police.

Items arrived on time watch strap to small for my wrist .wallet flimsy ,won't last long torch ok but no carrying pouch as in photo. Still waiting for bath mat but won't hold my breadth

This is truly the worst site I've had the displeasure of using. As all the other reviews say, I should have read the reviews first. Goods arrived, wrong size, I return and pay postage they then say they don't have them so back to me. Post office say they were received they say there not. Horrendous customer service staff, I suggest someone listen to the calls, cannot be bothered attitude and just not interested. In fact they can't even be bothered pretending to care, I'm giving up but be warned!!

Wished I had read the reviews before I ordered. After 5 weeks I am still awaiting delivery, despite 14 phone calls, all telling me the item is in stock and will be delivered within a couple of days. Numerous e-mails have not been replied to, supervisors apparently are always in a meeting when I ring up, promises of ringing me back with an answer regarding delivery, have never been kept.Please read the company's customer pledge on their web site then reverse everything around they say as they do not meet any of their statements or promises.

I paid for a voucher from a well known disount site, but had to pay for the postage and packing direct to Home Shopping Selections. Despite my receiving an order receipt, the goods never arrived, when I contact them I was told they were out of stock (despite them showing "in stock" on their website). Another week went by, no sign of goods. I contacted them again, still out of stock, coming in in a few days- same story twice. I eventually cancelled the order with the voucher company, and they agreed to refund the cost of the voucher and postage and packing - that was on 24th September. Got refund for the voucher - NO REFUND for the postage and packing - Still trying to get the money back after over a month - SHOCKING COMPANY TO DEAL WITH!!!!. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP WITHOUT READING REVIEWS FIRST. I WISH I HAD READ THESE REVIEWS.

There was a leaflet, attached to my TV Guide,from Home Shopping Selections at the beginning of October.The "Snuggs Winter Boots" looked just what I wanted and so I ordered a pair online. The order form required my debit card details to pay for the boots and p&p. totaling £18.94. Payment was taken from my bank on 7 October. After about 2 weeks I had heard nothing at all from H.S.S. and so I made the expensive phone call to enquire about my order. I was told that they had not received any order from me. I pointed out that they could only have taken payment using the bank details on my order form. I was told to send them a copy of my bank statement showing the payment, which I did. After a few more days,there was a message on my answerphone asking me to phone HSS. I made another expensive phone call, hoping to get a conclusion, but was told that they had no record of any order, they had not received any e-mails and had no knowlege of any earlier phone call made to me. It is now 24 October and still nothing from HSS. In the meantime I have bought my boots, locally, over the counter. A relative suggested that I write to their local Trading Standards Office, which I have done and that I "Google" the name of the company. I had, until now, believed that this was simply an admin. error on their part that would be quickly rectified with an apology and the dispatch of my purchase. Reading what other customers have experienced, I now see that this is something very different from a clerical error and that at 87 years old I still have not yet met every kind of rogue.

goods ordered , money taken from account, received an email dated 5th aug stating goods would be delivered within 5 days well I am still waiting despite 8 email messages and 2 phone calls perhaps trading standards may be interested

If it were possible to give a minus star rating I would - only posted one star because it's mandatory! Ordered some personal care items for my elderly mother at the beginning of July. When package eventually arrived two items missing, although packing note suggested that delivery was complete (the packaging was not large enough to contain all items and clearly stated 1 of 1!) Of course the full amount had already been charged to my credit card, together with the extortionate p&p fee of £4.99. I had to give up with customer services telephone number as they never answered - It's so wrong that they do not tell you your place in the queue or how much the call is costing you per minute. I tried going through customer order telephone number - again held in a queue (calls cost 10p per minute!!! but you are advised of queue position). Originally told I could not be transferred to customer services, but eventually was when I insisted - only to be held in the queue again! Needless to say I gave up. I recommend you seek advice from Trading Standards; also if you've paid by credit card speak to your credit card company and they may be able to help. Do not use this company under any circumstances. I note that they put their catalogues in magazines aimed at the more mature consumer market - HSS ought to be ashamed of themselves! How many more complaints do there need to be against this company before they are forced to amend their ways or stop trading?

Absolutely disgusted with this company. Have sent email, telephoned several times without a response. Call the order line who cannot help with orders already processed and inform that the reason you cannot get through to the customer services is because 'they are on training'! What, every time you call?! The company soon took the money out of the account, but no sign of the goods. Trading Standards will be my next port of call.

Ordered 2 outdoor chairs, still waiting for delivery. Impossible to get through on their customer servivce phone line. Rang the order line got through then they promptly transferred me to customer service - never answered. Emailed - nothing. I am going to report them to trading standards & Groupon - who I made my purchases through. Unbelievable in this day & age businesses like this are allowed to trade.

Well to say i was worried after reading the reviews is an understatement ! h.s.s quoted 10 day delivery but to be honest i Was not expecting anything to arrive ...... but wait , 3 days later a knock on the door and a parcel from Eckman ! everything seems to be in order after opening and will try it out next week .
