Take your details, send you emails asking you to reply but you can't 'no-reply' address. Been chasing for a week and got nothing except unanswerable emails - don't waste your time.

They took my car and told me that the money would be paid in within 2-3 days. It is now 2 weeks later and there is no money and they still have the car. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!

I put a request in online and received a call back straight away. The man was very polite. I was told the payment will be transferred into my account and received it on the same day. It was a pleasure doing business with this company and received a payment value that I was happy with.

I had rang this so called "company" whilst shopping around for a price for my Citroen Saxo. They give me a fair price and was very polite and persuasive over the phone at first. Since accepting their offer I had a call back offering me an extra 30.00 from a different company. I rang back 10 minutes later and the polite man answered, but this time...he was not so polite!! I was shouted at, threatened and was told I had to pay a cancellation charge of 60.00 and if I didn't pay up they would send the drivers round to collect it. Their words "we take the law into our own hands - we don't go through the courts" I put the phone down and ignored several telephone calls over the following 30 minutes. How are these people getting away with this!

This might seem confusing at first but read on and it will make sense. On Friday I was offered £80 for my car to be collected with one company. They didn't show up, the local agent wasn't answering his phone and when I eventually found the head office number, they told me 2 different stories about why the agent didn't turn up, had a very unfriendly tone of voice and then proceeded to hang up on me. On Monday I was phoned by a friendly female who led me to believe her company would offer me £130 to collect my car, and being a female myself and being terrified by the angry man on the phone on Friday, I was naive enough to accept her offer. An agent rings me and says he can't find me, and it turns out the postcode was misheard over the phone, so collection was rearranged for today (Tuesday). It gets to 2.30 and I haven't heard anything so I try and ring the lady that contacted me. No answer. So I ring the agent that contacted me yesterday and he gives me the number for the local agent. It turns out it's the same number from Friday!!! The no show company from Friday and the 'nice lady' that led me in to another offer are the same people! So now I know the head office number will obviously be the same, I ring them up again and ask for an explanation, and they say "We can't pick your car up because we only offer £70 or less, so when I ask "why was I offered £130 then", the same angry man on the phone hangs up! Shortly later, the local agent that never showed up tries to impose a £60 cancellation fee on me, and I tell him that by his company hanging up on ME, that makes me assume they do not wish to carry out business with me, and I eventually managed to persuade him to destroy all evidence of me contacting their company, as he said "it seems you have been messed around". Whether he will or not I don't know now - after reading these reviews I am literally terrified that they will come after me and threaten me. Their website even says they will offer "up to £5000", and their testimonials appear satisfactory. They are lying through their teeth! I feel so stupid and naive for accepting the £130 offer, I wish I had delved deeper in to Google like I have only just done now to discover how rude, manipulative and damn right dodgy these people are! Being young and female I guess they took my naivety to their advantage, and I'll be getting advice from family now whether to take further action. Please, DO NOT USE CAR SCRAP SALVAGE COMPANY!!!

These guys were verbally abusive to my elderly father who suffers with Alzheimer's, my dad was offered a pathetic amount of money for his vehicle which was still in perfect working order (Mum & Dad just wanted rid, as they now cannot drive for various other medical reasons). When my father refused the measly amount offered to him, the driver and his accomplice then phoned his office talking about my father in very detrimental terms, with language that would make your toes curl!! Safe to say that when I arrived my parents were severely shaken up. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS "COMPANY"!!! Customer service is appalling and when I ranc to complain about what had happened I was told to [email protected]@@ off and stop whining [email protected]@@@.

Abused my girlfriend over the Phone with a four letter tirade and then demanded money and threatened to call round to her house to extract cash. Do not use these people under any circumstances, they are extremely intimidating. The police have been informed.

I was offered £150 for my vehicle but when i said i'd think about it and call back the next day the man on the phone told me to "Keep it then you f**king greedy cu*t" then hung up. I was genuinely going to think about the offer rather than rush into selling it to the first person i spoke to. I would not recommend anyone uses this website to scrap their vehicle.
