“poor sunday roast”

written by CullenDouglas207 on 15/05/2016

My husband and I have been here a few times ain the last few year whilst visiting the area. Previous years the place, staff and food has been very good. I don't know what has happened this year as the Sunday roast was awful! The roast potatoes had obviously been cooked earlier and reheated along with the dry vegetables! The shredded cabbage tasted like it had cheese on it, which I am allergic to but there was no warning on the menu! The thin slice of beef was hardly recognisable by taste! On top of this everything was covered by a thick gravy or maybe sauce! I think this should be optional and served seperately in a small jug on your plate.
We were really disappointed this time and will not be returning.
