Do not use this builder or any of his ‘companies’. If he’s tricked you report him to the police. One of his tricks is to have builders on site doing nothing and not returning calls until you stop the work. He will ask for money up front then not follow through with what he promised.

pretended to be a trusted builder helping us with our loft conversation but instead took us for £13k an open roof, didn't pay workers and ran away with our money.

this guy needs to be blacklisted on all sites and i hope someone finds these reviews before losing their money

I employed Complete Group Build in September 2021 to do a loft conversion and whole house renovation.

He started the job and it progressed quickly and efficiently. At this stage when there was no reason to doubt his honesty, money was asked for, which I paid on good faith that he was honouring our contract. As more money was taken, for goods and services that I did not receive, dead lines started to fail, and his level of contact became unworkable. I appealed to him numerous times to get the job back on track but all communication broke down. I discovered these reviews and realised that he had a pattern of taking money, becoming completely impossible to work with, leaving jobs and moving on to the next unsuspecting person.

Please reply to this if you would like to join together to stop this 'man' carrying on taking money for services he never delivers.

I’ve had the misfortune to be taken in by them they took money for materials that didn’t turn up, walked off the job when I started to question his workmanship & tried to disappear without answering, calls, e mails etc. He is not to be trusted & it’s cost me £38 k so far to put right his bodge job. I am starting legal proceedings & have gone to a lot of trouble to expose him for what he is. He has set up yet another company called Cotswold Design & Build based at his home.

Act fast to get your money back it’s taken me 3 years to track him down as he kept moving around. He is not to be trusted & shoujdnt he allowed to carry on taking money from hard working people.

Dear All, I would like to say I'm so sorry to hear all the storeys relating to his tactics on tricking innocent homeowners out of thousands of pounds by taking money and leaving their homes in ruins. I can count myself lucky as it's, not in the thousands as others have suffered. He has promised to deliver to us but cannot be contactable by returning calls, emails or texts. Company house records show that four companies were set up in 2011, all under the same style name as "COMPLETE". Over a 10 year stretch, it looks like he has deliberately planned this strategy in using one company at a time and then taking action in closing it down before anyone can get to him. It looks like he is not that smart after all, with the latest errors he has made in making this a case on his own personal name. Please can others message me directly to include my case in yours and claim back what is owed to me. I may have more information to share back as I've made contact with others on here. If anyone is thinking about using him, avoid him at all costs as he is not an honest person.

has basically started on my house last year quoted me really cheap and then not built to building standards, not submitted any council paper work and said he did. I have given him a total of £56,000 to date and 18k+ of that money he has - basically me out of pocket. He wanted money upfront for windows, bifold doors, steels, rendering materials and underfloor heating which he never ordered. I spoke to the companies he said he got it from and they all confirmed he didn't purchase it.

If any of you are out of money by him, contact me with your email address below and I will share my number on your email and I will explain what legal processes I am taking including reporting him. Theres a few of us taking action and the more of us report him for the damages he has caused the better. He has left my house in a bad state of repair and will cost me thousands to put right.

We commissioned this company to build our loft conversation but after a list of botched jobs and taking the building control money we paid to him he has left our property a complete reck. Avoid him and all his alias companies at all cost.

Complete Roofing is just one of a number of companies with "Complete" in the name that are used to defraud unsuspecting clients. I received a quote for a loft conversion from them in 2012. The quote seemed reasonable and was accompanied by plans from an architect. I put down a 10% deposit of around 2500 GBP and never heard from them again. They didn't respond to any letters, e-mails or phone calls from that point forward. I submitted a case at the small claims court, they ignored all correspondence from them and I then paid for a bailiff to visit them but apparently nobody could be found at the address they had for them. I would highly recommend everyone to steer clear of any of these various "Complete" companies.

We hired Marc Moy for a loft conversion as we liked his website and he was the cheapest. We signed a contract in Sept/Oct 2015 and paid the 10% deposit (£3400) to secure a start date in March 2015. After that things went downhill. He claimed he would have plans drawn up and submitted to council but this over the coming months we had issues with him not returning phone calls or replying to emails. The plans he finally submitted (in February 2015) were missing information. After the council tried repeatedly to contact him for that information, they were forced to withdraw the application as it was incomplete (June 2015). He typically does not return our telephone calls or reply to email or text, if he does his excuse is that he is either busy or on holiday.

We are out of pocket £3400 and judging from other reviews we’re not the only ones to fall victim to this guy. His M.O. appears to be registering a company and reporting it to Companies House as being dormant while trading under its name, he takes your money after you sign a contract and then doesn’t start the job at all and he has a list of excuses for why the project is delayed. Below is all the information I can find on him. Do yourself a favor and AVOID this man and his companies.

The above company comes up in the Companies House website as dormant with no income or expenditure. On 6th July 2015 he filled paperwork stating his net assets for this company were £1. I assume our £3400 was spent on his Skiing trip to France!
