I was disappointed with the wedding dresses at the V&A. There were some beautiful ones and nice to see a historical selection, however, it should be a free exhibit and not a paid exhibit. They had no dresses from royalty would have been amazing to have seen Kate's or Diana's dress, not just a video playing on the wall in a cramped space. A highlight would have been to see one of the Queen's wedding dresses i.e. Victoria's! That would have made the trip worthwhile.
Also, you could not take any photos and in the magazine that is for sale, you would think they would have had some of the dresses in it but none were in it, and after paying £12.00 for admission and £4.20 for the magazine I felt like it was money not well spent. Also, there were no brochures.
I was very excited to go but was sadly disappointed.
