Well I Got My Storm - The Big Boss 43cc Go-ped On

Well I got my Storm - The Big Boss 43cc Go-Ped on 25th of November. I got it runnng and went out on it and I was so impressed by how fast it is and how powerful it is pulling off. I have clocked about 25mph and thats with letting off the trottle now and then and I got about 28-29mph down hill, the next day I took it out for a ride and it was fine again fast and performing better then before, then I pushed it down me mates house and when I got there I went on it for a bit taking in turns then about an hour later I rode it home. All of a sudden, when I was about 50 yards from my house, the clutch went - I was pulling the trottle and all it was doing was reving. I only had this thing for about 48 hours and did about 14 miles before it broke.

I Had A G Scooter, Which Is A Storm Big Boss Scoot

I had a G Scooter, which is a Storm Big Boss scooter with a different badge. When I first rode it was a shock how fast it was. It pulled away so easily and was such a nice ride I could not feel any bumps or potholes. After the first ride I concluded it was the best and cheapest Go-ped I'd rode. The second time I rode it I took it to 30mph down hill, and was pulling wheelies everywhere. But that is where the fun ended. The next day the engine flooded, then the spark plug went. Then after I got it running like new in a couple of days I decided to sell it then the morning of the sale, I got the oil mixture wrong and that 43cc 2-stroke engine kept cutting out but anyway I got it running in the end and sold it. The Big Boss scooter is the best scooter to ride but the worst to own. If you want to go as fast, get a Bigfoot or GSR and tune it you'll go faster, or even a moped just don't go for these cheap and cheerful pieces of metal.

Fair enough! You do get what you pay for it seems.

Anything of good quality would last 3 years as brand new cars and motorbikes with a manufactures warranty has. As I bought this brand new I expected it to last and run no matter the minor abuse it had, and doing a wheelie was not one of them. It being brand-new and all, I happen to know how it should be run in, but that was the occasional excitement that took control. Overall the product is good for the summer but you will have to buy a new one to experience the same fun the next year, unless you rebuild it. I reviewed a Bigfoot scooter my mate owns and it happens to be a better build toy as its lasted 3 years. Even with all the modifications of a big bore kit, K&N air filter, sports exhaust… but that was all just a waste of money, as that tiny top end will soon shatter. If you even tried to do all that to this G-scooter it will probably just blow-up after warming. The review I wrote was not to slander this product but to analyse it, and I have done so honestly, describing it as fully as I can and not holding back on negative aspects. If you want a good quality well manufactured go-ped to last years get the Bigfoot, and leave it standard.

So you abused it by forcing it to do wheelies... then you got the oil mixture wrong on it.. and you wonder why the engine flooded then didn't work properly?

Suspension On Front And Back Means I Can Go Anywhe

Suspension on front and back means I can go anywhere on it. 10 inch tyres help this machine really look the part and the speed just blows all other gopeds out of the park! It is chain driven, so no slipping of the back wheel. There is also front and back disc brakes, which are so much more responsive.I am off out again now!

To tell the truth your review is encouraging someone to pour his or her money down the toilet. It does not say anything about the constant flooding of the engine; changing of the spark plug, throttle slack, poor brakes after three squeezes, bogging at most embarrassing times and seizing after five full tanks. When you wrote this it was in 2003, I bet it stopped working in 04 and by know it’s probably scrap.
