This Peugeot Speedflight 50cc Is A Very Good, Reli
This Peugeot Speedflight 50cc is a very good, reliable and quick bike. ive had it for 2 years now and have not had a single problem with it. i have not de-restricted and it reaches 45 mph. overall i think this is probally one of the best peds on the market. if you are looking to buy one go for this, you will not be dissapointed in anyway. the value for the money is great, you can even pick up a second hand one for £500.
Danny.
The Belt On This Has Broken Down 3 Times In The 6
The belt on this has broken down 3 times in the 6 weeks I have had it. Apparently it's a design fault - the garage have told me. Not much help now as I have purchased an unreliable scooter.

The Peugeot Speedfight Is Very Good Value For A Fi
The Peugeot Speedfight is very good value for a first scooter - it's easy to learn on and having rode several I find them to be great fun as well.

The 50cc Peugeot Speedfight Scooter Is The First F
The 50cc Peugeot Speedfight scooter is the first form of transport I have ever owned. I needed to get on the road quickly so completed a CBT course and then purchased the Speedfihgt from a colleague who was upgrading to a bigger bike for the bargain price of £370.
Apart from the outstanding price (in my case at least), the Speedfight is also a fantastic scooter. It looks quite cool and is definitely one of the least embarrassing scooters on the market. As you'd expect from a 50cc 'rev and go,' the Speedfight isn't going to break any land speed records (I've managed to get 55-60mph down a hill with the wind behind me), but has enough grunt to reach 40mph quite easily (which is more than fast enough for a commuter).
One of the most striking aspects of the Speedfight is its size - it could almost be mistaken for a 100 or even 125cc scooter. The seat is wide and long enough for a pillion passenger (and has fold out foot pegs) and houses a storage space for a helmet and tools. Fuel economy is outstanding (you can fill the tank for around £6), and the ride is surprisingly comfortable.
The Speedfight does whine like a wasp in a bottle when you start to approach 40mph, but overall is an ideal starter bike.

I Brought My Peugeot Speedfight(50cc) Second Hand
I brought my Peugeot Speedfight(50cc) second hand for £950, and even though I put a lot of hard work into making it the perfect bike (an extra £600), I dont think its worth the bother. It only goes 55-60mph without a sports exhaust and it is de-restricted fully. If anyone knows where I can pick up a decent sports exhaust, let me know
how do u de restrict it

Has Any Body Got Or Had A Peugeot Speedfight 50.
has any body got or had a Peugeot Speedfight 50.
my bike makes a screaming noise when i go over 30mph.and when i slow down it sounds like a screaming noise.has any body else heard of this as we are being told its normal the noise is so loud cars behind me can hear the noise.had 2 new gear boxes put in still got it though!
can any one shed some light on this please..
As an instructor for CBT and motorcycles, I have come across many Peugeot scooters. I find a minority have problems, but on the whole they prove reliable. They are easy to ride, comfortable, and exceptional value for money as a second hand machine.
I mean just stay away from Peugeout..they are nothing but trouble. Bad brand- DOn't buy...they are lemons especially the Looxor
Mine does the same and mine is a 100cc speedfight.
yours is so loud because one of the exhaust gaskets have blown. this is quite common especially on leo vinces. I have fitted on my speedfight:
70cc mhr malossi kit
21mm malossi carb
k&n air filter
leo vince zx
malossi gearing
malossi delta clutch (adjustable)
polini speed control variator
malossi kevlar belt
10 gram rollers.
and it goes like a rocket. I have been clocked by my mates car at 74mph, anything like Novas, Astra, or 106's cannot beat me 0 to 60 unless they've tuned there cars. I have had the mods on for about a year now and have had not one problem at all. Just when boreing the bike out to a 70 remember to upgrade your oil to fully semfitic. and upgrade the carb, 19mm min. Otherwise the bike will run to weak and burn a hole through the piston.
I have a speedfight 2, mine did it until I got it derestricted and then it stopped. Try that and then put a racing exhaust on because if it is road legal it will not put your insurance up at all well it didnt with mine or my mates.
