Having Owned A 2006 Bandit 1200 For Over 3 Years W
having owned a 2006 bandit 1200 for over 3 years which was comfortable for me 187 cms 110 kg i was looking at cruisers saw this in the paper rode it bought it comfortable handled it was so easy to point and steer brakes awesome iset the suspension up for my weight 20 clicks on the back further 4mm down on the forks the ride improved to give me a more stable feeling without losing to much of the softness i have the bigger factory screen which is best about 100mm from the top my only complaint is you have to be very sensitive with the throttle at low speeds while cornering servising costs are still unknown to me i suppose i will find out in 3000kms for its 12000 km service for me the kawasaki 1400 GTR is a awesome touring bike

Kawasaki 1400gtr Is A Great Bike For Good Money.
Kawasaki 1400GTR is a great bike for good money. Good points are electronic key Power Camshaft. Standard too small windscreen; Fueltank a bit too small.

6000 Miles In Used Daily For 90 Mile Commute, Rain
6000 miles in used daily for 90 mile commute, rain or shine fantastic, handles a dream tried all the other biggies before I bought, glad I made the right decision. Average mpg 46 ride steady +50mpg, for a big bruiser of a proper sports tourer damn fine.

A New Two Brothers Exhaust And Ceebaileys Screen C
A new Two Brothers exhaust and Ceebaileys screen changed the bike a lot. The exhaust sounds better and has made mine far nicer on the eye. The new screen takes the wind just over my head in the full upright position which is what I wanted in the first place - I'm about 5'11" by the way.
Overall, I am very happy with it. I mange to keep up with my mates on sports bikes except in the real tight stuff which is to be expected. My bike comes into it's own when it gets windy and rainy I hide behind the screen),and on long trips when they get stiff, sore necks etc.
The bike seems to lose its weight very quickly at lowish speeds but at 'very' low speed especially when turning, you need to have your wits about you to avoid a topple over.
I found this review helpful because...Iam about to buy one in April I agree with the comment re the exhaust i am 5 10 keeping figures crossed re wind effect.
