Yamaha FZ1S 998

I am 51 and have been riding for many years. I grew up on Japanese motor bikes of the 60's and 70's with my first taste of real speed with a 1978 CB750F, and real fast with a Yamaha XS11. I have had the cruiser thang. But I really wanted the high performance sport standard and the Yamaha FZ1 fits that bill perfectly. I am 5'9" anf 185Lbs. This bike fits very good. Some guys spend serious money to make them more R1 like and I say if you want a R1 buy one. This bike does it all, sport, gunslinger, tour, commute and turn heads with it's looks. Very tame around town, light weight in parking lots. One of the easiest bike to ride but not for beginners. The modified R1 engine is the real deal. Wind this baby up and it's a ballistic missle.
