2007 FS 550e. great bike lots of power but lots of problems. still love my husa. wouldnt change her with anything

Okay, this is my secound review after 1.5 years and 43hrs on bike. I wired it for street and now it's plated. I got siffer springs and revalved the suspension because I like to jump. I rejetted the carb and removed the exhaust insert. Okay the truth,it handles 6ft drops easy. I had it dynoed and it hit 54 ponies. Twist the throttle a little and it gives lots. Twist the throttle more and it's crazy fast. Twist the throttle all the way to the bar and you better remember where your brakes are at. It's heavier than what the specs would have you believe. But it really does not matter. This bike has motor. I love my bike, the only bike I may switch to is a 2010 Husaberg 570.

Weapon. Rocket. Earthmover. Arm stretcher. Keeping the front end down on bitumen is tough work in 2nd, 3rd or 4th. the Husaberg FE is one of the best bikes I've ridden in the bush in terms of handling and suspension, not to forget the motor which can go from tractable to hooligan in the flick of a wrist. I love the suspension and brakes and 10.5 lt tank all of which addd up to longer rides. On highway it retunred almost 20km/lt but after 90 minutes there was serious monkey butt there as the seat is firm and grippy. I sold my jap rocket to buy this and I don't regret it. If you want something totally different thi is the machine for you.

I own a 2007 550 Husaberg. live in the Western Australian desert and love my berg. I would never own another bike you just cant beat a berg. I ride with alot of japanese bikes and once they have had a burn on the berg mate they want one

This Husaberg FE 550 E bike is one of the best off road enduro machines in my opinion.I just sold a 04 450exc, and just purchased a 08 fe550e and love it.

2008 Husaberg 550 is the best overall enduro I've owned, I had them all ktm, xr's etc. Some thought really went into this machine. The seat is actually comfortable, the fuel tank will give you adequate range,(might be a little big) and you can get any kind of air you want with this suspension. The motor: twist the throttle and the bike rips and you say wow this thing moves. Twist a little more and it gives a lot more, and you say what a beast.

Perfect bike for fast trail riding, simple and use specific. With a smaller fuel tank it would work well in a motocross setting. Very stable in whoops and it turns well, very well on the front wheel. Once the sag is set the stock setting work very well for tough gnarly sections as well as sandy sweepers. Has a very European set up for the rider which translates into a competive style of handling. The motor is the best 4-stroke ever designed. It is capable of any input by the rider and the power is unlimited. This bike will not give you any unwanted suprises, just power and handling to match it.

I have always ridden and owned British or Euro motocycles, by far this is the finest example of enginering i have ever owned. In spite of what the Magazines say. In it's present form this is in my opinion the best bike on the market for people who truly enjoy the dirt bike world. I gave up KTM and Husky's for this, although Husky is close. It's to bad these don't get more press. One thing that strikes me funny is how one of the tabliods described the Berg as very old world and euro. Oh Ok. Anyway well worth the price, magic it is.

Mine is a 2008 fe 550. By far the best enduro I've ridden. Motor is awesome, no end to the power. Suspension will take anything while being plush feeling. Design allows for easy maintenance and adjustments. Bike is exotic and sexy looking.

The Husaberg FE550e is a motorbike built by a company set up by ex-Husqvarna employees in the late 1980s following a corporate takeover.Husaberg started making dirt bikes in the late 1980 and appear proud of its product. The supermoto and dirt models will be more obviously changed a bit this year; they don't want riders buying a Husaberg FE650e and winning a supermoto race. What you make of the colour scheme on the 2007 range is your own choice. We think it's pretty at both ends but ugly in the middle. Maybe they should have used less yellow paint on this road hog.Might be worth a look...
