Easiest Triumph To Own Ever!
I love my Scrambler, slow and solid with decent grunt. Soooo easy to ride.
I have the single seat and rack and the seat is one of the comfyest ever. Don't do the Triumph off-road pipes - they are too load without it being a nice sound. Shame about the casing corrosion on laquered cases.......

This Bike Is The Most Fun I've Ever Had On A Bike.
This bike is the most fun I've ever had on a bike. Handles like a bicycle, sounds great with the Arrow 2:1 exhaust. Good gas milleage. Makes heads turn. Has caracter and a natural riding position (and legroom for tall people!).
Tons of accessories are available, and it's hard to stop modifications once you get started...had a small oil leak but that was covered by warranty, a gasket was changed and it has stopped after. Even with a passenger it feels like you have more then the 59HP and it gives out on paper. Feels more like a 75HP. Really cool bike.

I Have Owned Various "classic" Triumphs From A 53
I have owned various "Classic" Triumphs from a 53 Speed Twin to a brand new 85 Bonneville over the last quarter of a century, and can honestly say that my 07 Scrambler is easily the best Triumph I have owned. It looks like a proper motorcycle. Build quality is excellent, performance is better than expected. Handling and braking are more than adequate. Reliability is of the kind that us old time Brit. Bike owners could previously only dream about.

The Triumph Scrambler Is Not A Bike To Be Ridden I
The Triumph Scrambler is not a bike to be ridden in an iron butt competition. This is a bike to be ridden to meet friends for dinner, cruise with your buddies, or ride to work. It is not a Gold Wing, but then again, a Gold Wing is not a Scrambler. Happy riding!

The Triumph Scrambler Is An Icon. It Evokes Images
The Triumph Scrambler is an icon. It evokes images of Steve McQueen who was a keen off roader. It also pulls peoples memories around 'The Great Escape' and in the bike club I am a member of much humour was made of trying to jum barbed wire fences. However, all this aside it is a comptent machine that could be used for mild off roading (gravel tracks). It is really a Bonneville low tuned to suit a sedate but stylish procession through city streets or rural back roads. It will cruise easily at 70 mph but the wind blast would preclude higher autobahn speeds. There is a small fly screen available which may take a small amount of wind blast. This machine though is about image, it will do all you ask of it, but don't ask of it what it was not designed to do. It is a head turner and with the Triumph off road pipes it can be heard as well. Usefully you can fit a centre stand but this is an after market accesory. I like the bike, but I bought it because I love the ruffty tuffty scrambler image as well as being familiar with the Hinckley Bonneville. This is a capable and fun machine which if you like the 60s era is one to definitely to consider.

If You Take This Bike At Face Value It Is Brillian
If you take this bike at face value it is brilliant. Compare it to a modern style bike and it will appear very basic, a bit slow and a bit old tech. But that is really the bikes charm. It is really easy to ride, gentle and forgiving yet when hustled along, and it can be quite fast up to about 90 MPH, it becomes a lively thing in a predictable but fun way.
40 plus MPG is okay and with after market pipes sounds awesome.
This bike has real character and mine gets ridden every day. Even after a string of Blades, CBRs and a K1200S beemer rocket ship this is the most enjoyable fun bike Ive ever had. Definitely more than the sum of its parts.
