I Originally Tested A Secondhand 2006 Pegaso. And
I originally tested a secondhand 2006 Pegaso. And it was god awful, coughing spluttering, backfiring etc and I wondered if those minority negative reviews were right after all?
I then saw a new Aprilia Pegaso Trail. Lovely colours Spoke wheels not thos awful blue alloy ones!
I bit the bullet and bought it.
I LOVE IT!!!!!
Such fantastic handling, powerful, no hesitancy, no spluttering... etc.
Its the first bike I have had in a year of being out of the saddle and I dont regret a moment of wondering if it would be as bad as the 2006 model. She is a dream. There is nothing I can say about this bike that could possibly be negative. Gorgeous looks. Fantastic handling.
PS I had a Fireblade before this... I guess we just didn't get along.... ;-)

I Had A Pegaso Trial And Had No End Of Trouble Wit
I had a Pegaso Trial and had no end of trouble with the bike I could not use the bike in the wet as it just cut out and would not run. In twenty months of owning the bike from new it was at the dealers for over two months being repaired Personally the crossover from Italian and Japanese electronics does not work.

The Aprilia Pegaso Trial is fun, easy to ride - an excellent fist bike, but you may get bored with the lack of power quite quickly. Light and excellent visibility with the high seated position. very slow, somewhat excessive vibration - especially at motorway speeds (which take some getting to). the side stand is shocking - mine fell over on a flat surface and I have fitted a center stand.

I've Just Returned From Another Hour Of Pure Pleas
I've just returned from another hour of pure pleasure driving on my Aprilia Pegaso. Its been a long long time since I felt this close to a bike. 660cc water cooled single cylinder, with its ancestry tucked safely in the Yamaha family, a gearbox as slippery as an icy pond, steering razor sharp and brakes to match should you be pushing a wee bit too much. This is a bike of pure pleasure. Old dreams revisited, like meeting an old flame. Can you remember the first time you rode a motor bike, well, its all here again. The old feelings are flowing. The Pagaso is a dream catcher for sure. If you like the lazer design, modern approach, and the sheer fun of thrashing a big single, this bike will please and please and please. I'll write more in a few weeks time when the heat of this affair simmers a bit. So far, wow!
