We Purchased This Moto Guzzi Jackal Used With 10,0
We purchased this Moto Guzzi Jackal used with 10,000 miles on it and it is a keeper. It's simplicity in design eliminates distractions that most bikes have so you develop a relationship with the engine much quicker. We upgraded the bike in all areas including a top motor performance that increased the power and performance alot. It's like a different bike than stock! We installed floor boards and use a Butt buffer with the stock seat so touring comfort is enhanced. The only thing missing is ABS brakes but the Brembo single disc on the front is stronger than most two disc brake bikes. This cruiser has to be one of most overlooked bikes ever produced. Attend any HD event with this bike and you have one of the most unique bikes there.

I am writing about my Moto Guzzi Jackal 2000. I purchased the bike used with just under 4000 miles on the clock in Nov. '03.Since that time I have put 17000 miles on it without any mechanical problems. The bike was lowered by the previous owner, so cornering clearance has been limited. It can still lean to respectable angles.(my chicken strips are about 1/4 inch). the bike runs a little lean so 91+ octane is required in the summer.(I live in 29 Palms, Ca.) If you are not into plastic, want a bike that will eat up miles without complait, handle well enough to keep you entertained, and easy to maintain, this may be a bike for you!
