I Previuosly Owned A Suzuki Sv650s K3 Model F

I previuosly owned a suzuki sv650s k3 model for about six months and decided that i fancied somthing slightly different. I visited my local dealer and a few days later I part exed my sv for a 2004 triumph daytona 600. The second I pulled away from the shop I knew I was going to enjoy this. Being that this is the first inline four I have ridden, having always owned twins and singles, I did find it alien at first having to work the engine and not actually getting any power out of the bike untill 6500rpm. But ofcourse once you adapt to the trumpet you soon release how civiliased the thing is. Through town it is light and has a fair amount of steering lock, the clutch is light although the gearbox isnt up to scatch as that on a suzuki it does work. The trumpet also has a fair bit of 00mph when you crack the throttle open, you also notice that it will quickly get you to the point of national speed limit and beyond, not that any of us should be doing that Officer. I have owned the trumpet for about 4 months now and it has been the ideal tool for commuting on and when the mood strikes it is the perfect cornering weapon. The standerd suspension setting on the bike it fantastic and the Diablo tyres running on it give you enough feedback to practice the art of knee down cornering. All in all the trumpet is a fantastic little biek that looks great, handles fantasticly and has that lovley badge on the tank. Rule Britannia!

Handling,brakes,slightly Higher Riding Position No

Handling, brakes, slightly higher riding position no wrist aches

reliability is good ,very good looking 600 and its British.

Very revvy machines ,throttle seems a bit too far to wind back without adjustment, wind protection is poor and aftermarket parts arent the most popular

Triumph Daytona is a bit different and not as popular but gets a few looks, and with the right can on sounds great.
