GetBike.net CBT Training

Totally disappointed. Supposedly there was a 'free' recovery service within the M25 for hires. Called up S.O.S Recovery to only find out that no agreement was in place. I was stuck in a dodgy area at around midnight and had to walk for nearly half a mile to a cash machine to withdraw £100.

Its now 159 days since I paid out and they have no interest in refunding the expense I was put to, would seriously consider if this is the type of company you want to hire from. When I mentioned that I would like a refund I was called "wishy washy" - what does that even mean!?

I have recently completed the CBT. The course was about 8 hours and it was extremely well planned. It was divided into classroom theory, on-site bike riding skills, followed by a 2 hour scooter ride on the roads with the instructor and two students. My instructor was an excellent teacher - extremely knowledgeable, proficient, professional, polished with a great sense of humour. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable learning experience. I would recommend the course to others.

Took my cbt for the 5th time , after riding my scooter for 4 years. Failed twice the first time round and having to retake every 2 years. As usual at get bike I really enjoyed myself and it refreshed my memory how to ride safetly and get rid of my bad habits I picked up while riding on my own. My instructor was Stan and he really takes notice to everything you do and how you ride. Would reccomend get bike 110‰ to anyone, and it´s worth travelling to even if you come from a distance because it´s extremely rare to find a garage and bike shop in one to really help you every step of the way!

Had an amazing day! The team were professional and welcoming from start to finish. Arrived a little late, but was warmly welcomed to the group and told the plan for the day. Everything was explained fully before getting out onto the bikes to reassure the younger /less experienced members of the group. During the morning we spent a few hours in the test centre practicing slow control and basic handling. Nigel had the patience of a saint and took the time to get everyone up to speed. The afternoon session was out on the roads and allowed us to put into practice everything from the morning session. Again, Nigel was a brilliant instructor and helped us pass with flying colours! (even if i say so myself!) Thank you to the entire team!

I renewed my CBT at Getbike. I had done the first one somewhere two years ago where I got very disappointed with the careless of the informations regarding the Highway code and the its importance. As I worked as theory instructor for drivers in my country, I got very impressed with the all Getbike instructors´ professionalism. They really take their job with responsibility to make sure the trainee is prepared to ride on the roads. Great infrastructure, friendly and experienced staff. I strongly recommend Getbike! You will be ridden your scooter with confidence with them.Thanks guys!

From the moment i walked into the door, i was greeted with a friendly face with a smile. I was directed to the appropiate room instantly and as soon as i walked in, was put at ease by the friendly nature of my instructor (terry). For someone who has never ridden a bike before and didnt know what to expect from the day, this was the best possible start i could have wished for. Right from the off on the pads i was also put at ease with Terry understanding my zero knowledge of never ridden before and was nice to hear that he had given me a bike that would reflect this. The whole day was a success, from the great lesson about the engineering of the bike and knowing how it works to going out on the road with the instructor. I was extremely happy with it all and will be recommending you to anyone who is either lookin for a lesson or lookin to kit themselves up with some bike gear. thank you so much for everything and im sure ill be seeing you again in the future to either purchase something or go one step further and get my full bike license.

Booked my CBT with Get Bike and it lived up to my expectations. The training and instruction given wasn't just about to getting you through the CBT and taking your money, but felt like they were genuinely concerned with making me a better and safer biker. Friendly and practical instructors!

What a fantastic team, I've just got home after completing my CBT!. They took me from someone who'd never sat on a motorbike, a nervous wimp spouting apologies, to a confident road user in the space of 10 hours. I am so glad I did it. They taught us in groups of three, so you really have the one to one attention you need, which gives a lot of confidence and they don't mind how many times you make a mistake whilst your learning to control the bike. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn to ride safely and proficiently. Maxine and Toby deserve special thanks for not giving up on me!

Very Friendly, and helpfull instructors. The whole day was very informative and stress free. I personaly thought the course was well thought out and the classes not too large, which enabled the instructors to give each rider, be it on Scooter or Motor Cycle the necessary if needed extra help as and when needed. Thank you to all staff at Get Bike for making a pleasant and educational day out of what might be considered a daunting experience for some new Future Motor Cyclists and Scooterists.
