My Skygo Scooter Does Not Start The First Time. Th
My Skygo scooter does not start the first time. the battery has to be replaced regularly. Mine is difficult for a female (who it was apparently intended for) to kickstart. Mine is unreliable and lets you in the lurch when you need it most. Mine needs to be driven over long distances whereas NORMAL people use it for shorter distances - this I've been told is insufficient for charging the battery. Why don't they make the battery charging function better?
I will NEVER reccommend that some buy a SKYGO unless you are a mechanic yourself. It is definitely NOT FOR WOMEN!
lol i had th same problem with mine, you have to change th transduser this is what charges th battery when you have started it and then you should have no problems. if it is not that then you need new coilovers and then it should be a doddle to start. if it is only a kick start you shoul fit an electorik start to it if you have problems with that just email me at (nee_for_speed_14 at hotmail.co.uk) and i will be happy to help.

I Wish I Had Spent More Money And Bought Quality I
I wish I had spent more money and bought quality instead of buying a Skygo SG125. Engine needed to be replaced within 6 months. The bike doesn't keep the battery charged. Bolts have loosened and (on one occasion) fallen off and lost. Dealer could have been more helpful/sympathetic.

I have had a new front disc fitted and on the 20 of may 2008 i had the back end of the exhaust actually blew of the motorbike and i had to turnaround and pick up the exhaust and take it to the dealer.
On the 23 of may 2008 i went to pick up motorbike but I wanted my money back but they would not refund me only offering to sell my bike for me.

Well I Know It Seems Like I Will Be Slating This S
Well I know it seems like I will be slating this Skygo SG125 in my review, but to be fair I'm just speaking from my own experience of owning and riding the bike for just over 4 months. Others may be diffrent, this could be a one off.
So we shall begin with whats good about the bike. First thing I noticed when riding the bike is that it can handle corners very well, which is especially good when you live in a town like Milton Keynes. This is probably down to the seating position and its lightness. For a scooter, it does look pretty mean and big in size, which is especially true if you get the back box to go with it.
But thats where all the good points stop. I brought this bike new in October 2007 (57 plate), granted it was cheap, but I did expect some reliability from it. I ran the engine in, and after that period, (around 500 miles), things started to get worse (Read bottom paragraph about breakdowns). Besides the unreliability, the bike seems to have no power, its top speed is 57mph (down hill) and flat speed 50mph which takes a while to get to, though 0-30 is OK. And the most annoying thing is when you indicate, the horn sounds in sync with the light, which is annoying and can be embarassing.
Before the time it needed its first service I was having trouble getting the thing started, even with kick start (which is pretty usless as its short and tilts the whole bike on a strong kick). Then about 3 weeks down the line I had a fuel leak which caused the bike to konk out (I smelt fuel, assuming it was a car around me, on the duel carrigeway then 5 mins later it died. After getting the problem fixed at the garage, 4 weeks down the line the engine was down the line the engine lost some of its non existant power. Again the garage claimed to have fixed it, and admitted they were baffled about what it was, then under a week later it died, and I'd left it tied in the back yard since.
Overall its another bike that is cheap, but unreliable, I would not reccomend it at all I'm afraid.
Q&A
I need a drive belt for my Skygo SG125T-2C, I do not have the belt size, can anyone with same scooter help me out with the size?
