Don't compare these with the old MZ. The build quality is a match for BMW. Capable of medium use off road, good solid engine and a keen price.

Wanted A Good Looking 125 To Build Up To Taking My
Wanted a good looking 125 to build up to taking my bike test, the MZ SX 125 looked great had 15hp (max for learner legal) stainless exhaust system, water cooled 4 stroke 4 valve engine that has gone through the winter, I ride 40 miles every weekday plus a few longer trips at the weekend and have no complaints, no rust, no hassle - couldn't ask for more!
