Fantastic Versatility. Samll Enough To Squeeze Eve
Fantastic versatility. Samll enough to squeeze everywhere, yet big enough for 2, massive storage for the size and nippy engine.
Perfect for city and not afraid of more open road. It can sustain 80km/h with ease and can go faster.
This scooter is very reliable and cheap to buy and run.
My only regret is that the rear brake is weak (drum only, not disc).
Small point to look out for: although you can fit a full face helmet under the seat, not all brands will.

Bought The Bolwell Vs For My Wife To Commute To Sc
Bought the Bolwell VS for my wife to commute to school but have ridden it more myself. I'm totally wrapped in the scooter idea and the VS125 in particular.
I'm 130kg and it drags me up the hills around here.
Rate it 9 because I never give 10's!

After Some 30 M/cycles Over 36 Years, From 50cc To
After some 30 m/cycles over 36 years, from 50cc to a couple of 750's, when they were the biggest and best, I now zoom around on a VS125. Traded in a 50cc Red Devil and took this little beast home. I bought another Bolwell as the Red Devil was such a good machine for 50cc but it just didn't have the legs. With a four year warranty and a scooter with longer legs thought I was on a good thing, and strangely enough I was right.
The VS125 is a well balanced and finished scooter with a nice predicable power source and a growl from the exhaust you don't expect from a scooter.
The scooter is not sluggish from a standing start but it is not overwhelming either, allowing easy rider adjustment to traffic. The scooter will easily keep up with the traffic, to the point I would compare the power as on par with the old CB 250 Honda.
Cornering produces a feeling of stability, with no wallowing, which you come to expect from scooters with only one shocker stuck on one side of the swing arm, the VS 125 has two shocks.
All round I give this scooter a big thumbs up.
