York Vehicle Test Centre, York

This centre charges £50 for MOT and does not do repairs. They put 'rear offside brake binding' in my failed MOT report. I took it to another mechanic who said this is not the case. Took back my car to the centre after couple of days and falsely said mechanic fixed it. retest was done and passed. must be one of two things. either the fault existed in the centre and later got corrected or the centre put it there even though fault did not exist.I can not be sure which one it is. If it is the second case, then one thinks what they get out of it if they dont do repairs? they do give recommendation of a mechanic if you ask them which is just one road away from them so they might get some commission. all I say I will not use them again just to be safe.
