Amateur Dishonest Mechanics

I had my car there for an egine swap with a nicely restored one, the original one was still in great shape but want it to perfect the car.

When I came to pick up my car, the original engine was "gone" and the rebuilt engine ran terrible, there was some body damage from the engingine lowering I suppose, I was "of course" not informed about the faux pas and had to argue with the owner about the stolen engine the terrible shape of the car and a decent compensation. The owner tried to get away with offering me a rediculously small amount of money. When I got home from the shop the car died on the HWY 1. That is not all, after I was able to make the car run again by using my amateur mechanics skills which actually resulted in a once again running car. I took the car on a ramp and found that WSM had not even done an oil change (my provided filter was not in place but gone like my engine) nor did they change the driving belts on the new engine--the bill was twice as high as the original estimate and I can not believe that such as shop is still running now perhaps targetting UCSC college kids and elderly folks who don't know much about car repair--a terrible shame for Santa Cruz and all honest people. What greed can do when mixed with incompetence!!!

One more thing the provided Water pump was also not installed--well I guess such things were appreciated by the "new owner" of my original engine. How ironic?
