Wakefield Accident Repair Centre, Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Wakefield Accident Repair Centre was the repair centre my car has been sent to through the insurance after an accident.

Initially all started well, car was picked up the same day, got a phone call the next day giving a date for return (quite crucial as going on holiday the next night). Was told to phone later and see how repair going to see if will be done on time. This was Tuesday. So I left it, then due to getting a courtsey car a few days later (Friday), rang to see how long car might be so could tell courtesey car company. member of staff had no idea when would be fixed, if had even been started! So left it, then phoned Sunday when courtesy car back, still no idea from staff member on phone, told to contact them after half 10 Monday and would say for sure. (Leave for holiday early hours Tuesday morning so very close to wire but said ok). So ring at 12 Monday as directed to get a member of staff who had no idea about my car, no idea when car will be returned. I said that (as stated earlier) was going on holiday and needed to know for courtesey car, airport parking details etc, staff member on phone stated cannot help me, has no idea when car will be done etc, apparantly no-one at whole garage had any idea when car will be returned.

I simply cannot believe that a garage repairing my car cannot tell me one week after collecting it, when it will be repaired by (even roughly) or give me any information on the state of the repairs. So am left with courtesey car whose rental company have been great after I explained, sorry, have no idea how long car will be away for, no idea when my own car will be returned.
