Shiplake Motors, Henley-on-Thames

I put my car into shiplake garage to have a clutch cable replaced. Its a one hour job. After 2 weeks they hadn't done anything to the car, telling me that other people had come in with more urgent problems so mine was put to the back of the queue. I needed my car as urgently as anyone else so wasn't impressed with that excuse. A week later they called to tell me that I needed a clutch. I had one in the car so told them they could use that. After another 3 weeks the car was ready. I went to pick it up and the mechanic said he fitted the clutch but that nothing was wrong with the old one. The same mechanic who told me I needed the clutch. He said he put standard oil in the gearbox (which was the wrong viscosity) and as I drove home I realised they had broken the speedo as well. I wouldn't let this lot touch my car again, they caused more harm than good.
