Precision Tunes

I brought my Toyota truck to the NC 49 Precision Tune in Concord NC for the state inspection. It failed due to a burnt out tag light. They offered to fix it for $11.99. I fixed it myself in less than two minutes for less than a buck. I returned three times for reinspection. The first two times they said they were too busy. Finally on the third time after ninety minutes, they reinspected the bulb, deemed it working and I was on my way. Then they suggest over three hundred dollars in preventive maintenence repairs I don't think I needed.

I wouldn't go to a Precision Tune-Anywhere, for anything at anytime.

This was a horrible experience for me at Precision Tunes in Durham. I gave the vehicle on 10/15/2007 for pre-purchase used car inspection. I got a report that everything is all right including battery. They said the battery is in good condition. Based on this report I bought the car on 10/17. On the same day the car stopped and was not able to start using key. I discovered the battery was down and I called aa to fix it. Aa guy told me that the battery has to be replaced. Next day on 10/18 I took the car to precision tunes. Same guy checked the car and said battery needs replacement. I am not at all happy with this kind of service wherein I was told that battery is good while it wasn't. The management at this location was not helpfull either. Some staff were also rude I felt. I am not at all happy and I will never ever consider precision tunes for my car service. I will not recommend precision tunes for service to anybody. In fact I will recommend my friends and family not to go to precision tunes.
