My friend and I took her car in for a check engine light, they talked down to us like we were stupid and smirked at her questions. They then told her they wouldn’t do anything for her car, it wasn’t worth the money and that she should scrap it. Charged her £90 for this assessment. We thought this was was ridiculous and took her car to my garage for a second opinion. Bob’s said they could see the issue lochrin mentioned, but it was actually an issue with the lambda sensor and is a simple fix that has been booked in and sent us off without a bill. Go to Bob’s Garage if you value your money, time and being treated with respect!

I have been a long-term customer of Lochrin's and after this time they certainly deserve another glowing review. They have always fixed any problems and are extremely honest in their assessments - which I find comforting. Their value for money is unbeatable and I would go a long way out of my way to make sure that my car was looked at by them then by any other garage. I recommend anyone else does the same.

Our first visit, on recommendation, very welcoming, very efficient. Car MOT'd and delighted that they also fixed a minor flaw or the door, without charge and without having to be asked. Very reasonable charge. The garage is spotless, and there is an Excellent waiting area for clients.

Great service again today and much cheaper than an Audi Dealership. I trust all our cars including our Classics to their care. Highly recommend to anyone looking for efficient, friendly service.

Failed to order parts required in advance despite knowing exactly what needed with resulting delays in completing work.

Blamed supplier for providing wrong part required on more than one occasion i.e. over 2 services, resulting in delays in completing work.

Charged at least 20% more than quoted prior to service.

Failed to inform of delays resulting in wasted time travelling to premises to pick up vehicle and then in waiting for job to be completed, resulting in missed appointments.

On the plus side, reasonably courteous if not always helpful.

I urgently needed a MOT on my car as i had missed the deadline by 2 weeks. I am very new to the area and took it to Kwik fit, they failed my MOT, they gave me a price of £840 to do the repairs on the job. I was in a stressful postion and asked Kwik fit to provide me with a break down, he reluctantly did and then decided to knock £100 off the amount.

I contacted a few garages and spoke to Lochrin who reassured me and asked me to bring the car for them to check.

They were very warm and inviting. Nick was on reception that day and said he would get me a price within the next hour. I got a call and the quote was £498. I was happy with the price but explained I need the work doing ASAP.

He booked me in for the same day and promised the repair would be done the next day, to my surprise I received a call at 11am to say all the work has been completed and for me to collect my car.

I was welcomed by a beautiful Dog who must have known I had a stressful day and could do with a cuddle

I went back to Kwik Fit and paid £17.50 for a retest and they passed the MOT.

Management and staff are extremely friendly and efficient and kept me up to date with everything they did.

I highly recommend this place and most defiantly will be using them in the future.

New to area so after asking work colleagues if they could recommend a garage nearby the majority suggested Lochrin Autos. I took the car in for its annual service and Mot.The staff at the reception were very friendly and said they would call either when the caf was ready or to let me know if there wereany repairs required .As promised I recived a call to say that I needed new rear brake pads and discs and they gave me a quote there and then for cost. As I had not usde them before I phoned a couple of other garages for a price and on finding Lochrin Autos to be competitive phoned back and ask them to go ahead. I was amazed at thier efficiency when told I could have my car back by end of the day. The car now runs great. I would recommend them as I found them efficient and very friendly.

Car broke down on Sunday. E-mailed Lochrin Autos to ask if I could book my car in on Monday. They promptly responded to say that one of the staff would meet me within the hour at the garage if it would be more convenient for the AA to drop the car off that night. Felt this was well and truly beyond the call of duty. Have been using Lochrin Autos for over 10 years and have recommended them to all of my friends. Staff have always been very friendly.Would like to say a very big thank you once again for feeling that I have left my car once again in safe hands.

We've been using Lochrin for nearly 10 years for several cars. They have always been helpful, friendly and efficient and we've never been overcharged, indeed quite the opposite. From routine servicing and MOTs to running repairs they have covered the full gamut of car work. Highly recommended.

A terrible garage - I took my car in for an MOT and was told the front suspension needed replacing to pass the MOT and they charged my hundreds of pounds - when the car started failing 2 months later I took it to another garage - they told me the suspension never needed replacing and that Lochrin Autos had put in the wrong part also - I then had to pay more money to have Lochrin Autos work re-done. A really untrustworthy garage
