Kwik Fit, Walton, Liverpool

I got a deal for a £25 MoT at Kwik Fit so that was where i went.

Took it in at 9am Monday morning for its MoT - actually ON the day the MoT was due. I had to ring them at about 11.45 and they said it had failed on 2 points. Failure doesn't bother me but they said the exhaust / smoking problem needed the Master Technician to look at it - he works across 12 branches so it would depend on when he could fit my car in. 2 hours later they ring me and say he can't get to my car till Wednesday morning!! When i got cross (NOT abusive) he said "we are trying to help you" Yeah right!! Leave me without a car for at least 2 days is helping!!! He did suggest i could pick it up and drop it back again wednesday morning but as i couldn't drive it again after midnight there wasn't much point in that!

Wednesday morning comes, master tech rings me says he's sorted the problem but it needs re-testing and there's no-one to do the retest till tomorrow!! AGAIN not everyone they need on site!!! Anyway he says they'll put it on the first test thursday morning - ie 9am

Thursday comes, again no phonecall from them. I ring them at 11.30 and they say i can pick it up in half an hour! I went to pick it up and yes it was ready but initially they were giving me someone else's key - only that i said mine was on a keyring they gave me the right one.

One example of incomptency after another!!!!!
