Kwik Fit, Melton, Mowbray

All the chaps at Kwik Fit could not have been more helpful in helping me sort out a problem with my car caused by another different motor spares supplier.Many Thanks

I was having a nightmare day and then to top it off my tyre pressure light came on. I was a 5 minute drive from kwikfit in melton so called in. They were really helpful and dealt with me straight away even without a booking. It appeared that a previous puncture repair was leaking and it could not be repaired so they put my spare on and ordered me a new tyre in. They then booked me in for my new tyre to be fitted at my convenience. I was given options of tyres and told prices. Advice was given when I asked for it and I never felt pressured in choosing a particular tyre.

The following day I received a call to say my tyre was in so went after work to have it fitted. It was all completed efficiently and professionally. I was impressed with all the staff and can not fault them. Thank you all.

Had puncture - went to Kwik fit. They repaired, left forecourt, flat after 4 miles.

Could not get wheel nuts off, used 6 foot bar plus two people jumping on it to get nuts off.

Went back to kwik fit - told them of the difficulties had getting wheel off, and the fact tyre flat.

excuses excuses excuses - told its a new puncture, nuts done to correct torgue blah blah blah. Guy who fixed it told me he didn't check rest of tyre only saw screw so assumed that was it. Then found out that they had used wrong car model to do up nuts.

Then old could not fix puncture and would discount me the price of puncture already charged.

Got bill £74 quid which said includes £40 discount. Get home ring up kwik fit at another location, they quote me £69 quid for same brand new tyre fitted incl Vat etc etc.

Not happy, wont be going back - ever, wlll be writing to there HO AND GIVING THEM GRIEF PLUS WANT MONEY BACK.

The manager at the Shoot up Hill branch in Kilburn quotes prices out of thin air and to add insult to injury i had to take my car to another garage to put right what Kwik Fitt couldn't fix yet they charged for.

Used for tyres only, on a couple of cars. To be fair they seem pretty good. Have the tyres in do it quickly, including a couple of puncture repairs. No issues with them. Cant comment on servicing.

They did track my car and cant guarantee a straight steering wheel, ( it wasnt) which bugs me.

I cant stand a car in which the steering wheel is not completely straight!
