Jamex Coilovers

wiked kit for v price and ride is relly good.

wud defo recomend to ne1 coz if u havnt got enuf dosh to buy sumthin for hundres then these are amazin.

Had some Jamex coilovers on my mark 4 golf for about 6 months now and got to say for the price quality is excellent. No they are not a £700 quid set of coilies and for less than 200 quid you shouldnt expect them to be, but for the price you really cant go wrong. The only downside is you can't adjust the dampening but as i said, they are a bargain buy and unless you want to spend 3 times more you just won't get that from anyone.

Ride is stiffer than normal and as you expect the lower you go down on them the more hard it will be. Otherwise they're pretty comfortable for sports suspension. Just make sure you keep them clean, greased and regularly slackended off / tightened otherwise they might seize up which is normal for any coilover really. I had a mate with a set of KWs who had the same problem so i don't think it's fair to say it's a problem of these alone.

I say if you want a good cheap set of coilies to improve your looks and give a better ride then go for it, obviously if you're lucky to have shed loads of money to throw around there's better but for a sub £200 budget you can't go wrong with Jamex.
